Funny how just by virtue of my skin color, Im supposed to be responsible for others of similar skin tone. When white people commit crimes anywhere in the world, you dont see me calling out specific white persons as responsible for situations having nothing to do with them. When an anti-semite killed a few Christians earlier this year, no one saw me posting "noobology be responsible for this white dude's crime".

And that type of thinking is what's wrong with people of OPs ilk....lumping people together based on skin color or some other descriptor. Im no more responsible for blacks than OP is for whites. Im not responsible for atheists, straight men, bodybuilders, bass players, soccer players, men in their 20s, etc etc.

Im educated, I work, I pay bills, I work out, I play music, I mentor, I do a lot of things. No need for me to break the law.

Like I said, rioting is pretty stupid...but it happens all over the world when people are fed up with the system. This isnt just about the teen that was killed...its about a lot of things going on with police in this nation lately.

I invite people to look at the story of Dillon Taylor, recently killed in Utah because he couldnt hear officer orders and wasnt quick enough to comply with them. Shot dead wearing headphones. People should wake up. This stuff has been happening to minorities for years, and now its happening more often to all citizens. But when it comes to police misconduct, even suburban kids like Dillon likely wont see justice.

Its really due to a lack of funding man. Plus you get a lot of the ghettos from chicago coming to milwaukee.

Man the publics schools in the inner city have been shutting down as well. People don't want to fund the schools because of poor grades, or low graduation rate.

Those threads in the DJ section are dating threads, and a lot of the men either tell the OP to deal with what life gave him and buck up...or hes told ways how to change his dating options. Threads created here in the Anything Else forum are always by some white dude trying to get a negative dialogue started on black culture. Thats the difference between the threads in both sections.

The DJ section has minority men trying to do better with the most numerous demographic of women in the country. The Anything Else section has white dudes who cannot seem to cease creating negative discussions about black people (always black people too). And in these threads theres always some flames and insults to be found (aka trolling race bait).

Anyways, thats all Ill add to this thread. Ill grab my popcorn and see if this decade old speech (which has been discussed to death) will actually create a decent intellectual discussion. Im not counting on it based on the thread's title.

I even met a woman who is from Africa, who said she was embarrassed of black americans.

I mean any one here, if you eve had to live or commute through inner city primarily black areas, you would understand. I was lived in an area where they had to have signs that said "Don't put shopping carts on their sides" and "don't remove shopping carts from parking lot"

Or two other areas, at the library they have to have security gaurds. Or highschools that are primarily black have to have metal detectors.

We had a couple black kids come to my public school and we treated them great. We were not racist, we accepted them. Yet I know people who went to primarily blacks schools and were harassed. I know one guy who quite going because of it, he is older then me by a decade also.

Black culture isn't negative? I think so. Jaylan thinks its not negative, so take some responsibility for the results of black culture.

Scandinavian countries have some of the highest standards of living on the face of the planet.
I bet you couldnt even point out where Mexico is on a map, let alone write a grammatical sentence with correct spelling. Im assuming when you say "Americans" in your post you are incorrectly referring to US citizens, but 99% of anybody living in the Western Hemisphere is an "american". America is two entire continents, not one country.


Ive been a minority most of my life; most of the jobs Ive had, most of the neighborhoods Ive lived in, and most of the schools and colleges Ive attended I was outnumbered by other races. It has never been an issue. Claiming all these negative perceptions and generalizations about entire groups of the population just shows how immature and ignorant you are.
Hell, our president is half black, the most distinguished job in the world. He's a lot more wealthy and successful than anybody on this forum, which absolutely puts your stereotypes to shame.
