I was considering buying the Art of Seduction by Robert Greene. I never hear about this book in the DJ community, I always hear about The Mystery Method, Double Your Dating, etc.

So for those of you that have read it, is it good and worth buying? What is it about and does it have new material that's not on this board? I skimmed over it today and it sounds similar to what we read here, but a little bit more theoretical. He even gives historical examples. Greene also has the 48 Laws of Power that relates to seduction to a certain extent. I'm also thinking about getting that book too. So is The Art of Seduction good material and worth buying?

Actually, there is a discussion topic on Art of seduction in the off topic section. But to answer your question, yes the book is worth a read.

You can d/l it in pdf form off eMule. Its a different kind of book, its not a pick up book. It's about personalities, male and female. The anti-seduction portion was the most insightful I believe.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

Yeah I was wondering who Robert Greene was, he's not one of the main DJ's you often hear about. But he sounds pretty freakin smart. Thanks everyone.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
The Art of Seduction is an interesting book. The 48 Laws of Power is more about how to kiss someone's ass effectively while you look for a good spot along the back to stick the knife...not something I got into.

this book to me was life changing...

the seductive characters...the stories are all very influencial to me...

to me i find it a very mind opening book when it comes to human psychology. what do people really want? why do women like bad boys? its all answered in the art of seduction. you don't simply read this book, you pull out a highlighter and you study the damn thing...

I was actually going to start a thread on this very topic. I've just recently found out about Robert Greene's books. I'm currently reading The 33 Strategies of War.
