I am so sick of this college B.S. right now. Flunking out of my classes, burnout, depression, I ****ed up my social life, etc etc etc. I'm going to go back home and take a break for the rest of the academic year. I feel like this (working, relaxing, hanging w old friends, one of which is a good player btw, figuring out what I want to do with my life, finally getting treatment for depression) would do wonders for my confidence and overall game. However, I do have holdups...

I'm going to UW-Madison, huge party school. I managed to **** up my social life, being a huge AFC my first two semesters, well enough that I don't get invited to pretty much anything, so I don't see how that should matter anyway. After I'm done with my year off, I'm planning on going to Mizzou with an old friend from h.s. (transfer student as well, the player mentioned above)

Can ppl tell me, have any of you gone though this experience? How does it impact your game? How is it, transferring to another college, starting in your third year? (Anyone here been to Mizzou? How is it? ;) )

Take time off and work on yourself and your happiness. I dropped out university my first week as I had thoughts about joining the military. I then went back the next semester and completed it. After that was done I didn't go back again. I'm thinking about returning this spring or next fall. In the meantime I want to work hard, save lots of money and invest it, and get in better shape.

If you're not happy don't feel pressured to go back until you know you're ready. College is expensive and I think it's best to have your mind in the best possible shape before you go back.

If your flunking courses then I would put girls/social life on the back-burner. Even in my worst subject, Biology, I still passed.

Take classes in a major that you can excel in...because your gpa won't recover by barely making it by at this point.

Exactly. Get yourself squared away before you are worrying about chicks.

Thanks for the responses. Yeah, thats what I'm trying to achieve, getting rid of depression and knowing what I want to do with my life. At this point, getting d's and c's on my transcript is a bad thing. I'm just going to miss the social life (or potential for one, since I really don't have one), and am hoping that I will be able to still get some of the college experience (when else will there be this many chicks collected in one area?) if I decide to go back.

Stop worrying about partying and women. Partying and banging girls does not let you pass classes and achieve high grades.

Girls will still be going to school in 2 years unless the world ends of course.

We'll find out in December 21, 2012. I personally wouldn't mind dying in the apocalypse. What better way is there to go?
