Taking whey powder

My work out schudle is such that I work out every other day, but sometimes I give it a 2 day rest, so its either 4 or 3 times a week.

How should I take my whey powerder during workout days?

How about days that I dont work out?

It's whey protein man, not a miracle drug.

The only benefit is after a workout because of the quick rise of protein synthesis. Other than that, you're better off eating casine protein(Like meat, eggs, etc) any other time because whey only keeps protein synthesis going for 45-60mins.
