Take your pick - Sex or Relationship?

Yesterday, I was talking to one of my friends (the same one from http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=77663) and an interesting question of debate came up:

Would you rather:
1.) Have amazing, unforgetable sex with the really hot girl you like once and that's it.

OR

2.) Have a one-year relationship with the really hot girl you like, but no sex - kissing and perhaps making out (just the kissing part, no feeling under the clothes) is the farthest you'd go.

Which would you choose and why?

Again, you can either have amazing, unforgetable sex with a girl you like once, or have a one-year relationship with the girl you like, but no sex (just read the original post).

So you can have one but not the other.

Unforgettable sex, because by its very definition its unforgetable. Whereas I can always get another relationship.

Although, on second thoughts, if its unforgettable, it might pale all your other experiences.

Daaamn that's a tough call. I went half a year with just making out and no feeling under clothing and it got stale, so I don't think I could do it for a full year. But on the other hand, I'm gaurenteed hot unforgetable sex once, only once? But on the other hand with the LTR would I be guarenteed sex after the 1 year? it's really definately a tough call.

Nothing is guarunteed with the relationship (underlined portion on the quote above)

This really is tough though - I can't even decide on it.

Not tough for me at all, I'd pick the sex (as long as I knew she wasn't carrying any STDs). That way, you get sex and the chance to do whatever the hell you feel like for the next year, be it more sex or find a relationship. Being stuck in a relationship and being limited to just kissing... defeats the point, doesn't it? That's called being friends.

I wouldn't have a relationship in the sense that we are going out but I would actually be friends if she were amazingly fun to hang out with. 9 out of 10 times I would go for the sex. I wouldn't make out with someone I was friends with. I don't usually ever go the gf route.

Thats what i thought, do whatever the hell you want, but if the sex is unforgettable, everything else would pale. Currently im doing both of them. Long term girlfriend, who I am cheating on.
