I made the decision to quit subscribing to cable TV and it's support of shows I hate, and misandric advertisements that accompany these shows. My internet service is intertwined with my cable subscription, and I was informed by the cable company that my internet rates would go up if I dropped my cable service. So I'm dropping the whole lot and will be living without these two mediums in my household. I barely watch TV anyway.
As for internet, I can check my emails at work (or better, at a wifi area with my laptop), but the bottom line is that my "forum time" will have to be put to rest.
If I remember correctly, I stumbled upon sosuave by looking up a Paul Janka link. I was so entertained by this forum that I decided to join and try to offer the youngsters my hard gained knowledge about women's actions.
I've enjoyed the coversations I've read and participated in. If only I had an internet forum like this when I was younger..........It could have saved alot of heartache for me !!!
However, the internet is like alcohol or drugs....it can become an addiction that overtakes your life and starts to affect your work and relationships.....
I'm looking forward to how I change my lifestyle without the computer as a constant distraction. My personal heroes ( Theodore Roosevelt, Errol Flynn, Bruce Lee, and of course, Porfirio Rubirosa, did not have the internet in their life...... ).
In no way am I saying the internet is bad...........No way ! I count some of my best friends as people I initially met online.....( not to mention the chicks I've banged off of match dot com....)
