This is an idea I'm trying to get out of my head and written down...the wording may be a little weird
When you make eye contact with a young lady, what's on your mind?
"Does she like me?"
No, that's on HER mind. She's deciding whether she likes you or not, and it's something you won't be able to see unless she yields it to you with verbal/nonverbal cues.
"Should I talk to her?"
No...that's on the minds of society around you...they judge you and this girl about whether you match up. Again, this isn't something you could possibly think about because you don't know. These thoughts are not yours.
"What if she rejects me?"
No...that's on the minds of those around you...your friends and your SoSuave buddies are going to judge you based on your performance with this girl, but that's not YOUR judgement...it's THEIRS.
"Will she f**k me?"
No...that's your d**k thinking.
"Will this girl be an enrichment to MY life experience?"
Ah...now HERE we go.
-----------------
Notice where the CONTROL goes in each situation. Everyone experiences the same moment in time differently. But YOU will only experience this moment through your OWN eyes and ears and heart. Trying to experience it through OTHERS leaves you living through others, playing as a minor character in THEIR story instead of the lead in your OWN.
When you think, "Does she like me", you live HER moment.
When you think, "Should I approach her?", you live SOCIETY'S moment.
When you think, "What if she rejects me," you live SPECTATORS' moments.
When you think, "Where will experiencing this new person take me?"...then you live in YOUR moment.
All your male instinct, all your ****y-funny kino techniques, all of this means nothing if you're still trying to get ACCEPTED into someone else's moment. Some people use the term "frame". You CONTROL the frame. This is YOUR moment, YOUR story.
When you don't own the moment, you try to project confidence. When you OWN the moment, you ARE confident.
When you don't own the moment, you try to make people laugh. When you OWN the moment, you are funny.
When you don't own the moment, you try to get others to follow you. When you OWN the moment, you LEAD.
When you don't own the moment, you try to be better than other people. When you OWN the moment, you are the BEST that you can be.
When you don't own the moment, you wonder if you will be a memorable experience for the girl. When you OWN the moment, you wonder if the girl will be a memorable experience for YOU.
When you don't own the moment, your self-image is based on the way you believe others view you from their frame. When you OWN the moment, your self-image is your OWN, based on what YOU believe, and yours to do with as you please.
Take back the frame. Take control of your life. Take back the moment and make it your OWN.
