Tai chi deserves it's own thread. I've started doing it for a month or so, and I can tell you, it feels awsome. Does someone here know something about it? I just do it beacuse I like it, but I can recommend it for everyone, the results are visible: It's practiced mainly for health, you become more concentrated, muscles change, you get a better flow, feel more loose and I sweat it changed every problem I had so far in my health. I used to have a bad circulation, and now I feel hot all the time! (This to point out that the results aren't just better muscles, it improves everything). Maybe if you do to get a amazing body it won't get you muscles like going to the gym, but the results are different, and in my opinion it satisifes everything I could want, it even imporoves my muscles, which I think is the main thing people are after in this forums. But I think the purpose isn't to bring you better muscles, bur rather to for example make your posture better, to make you less vulnerable to diseases and all, but it also works extremley well for that too. (Speaking for myself).

What's your opinion, is it really worth doing? I really recommend it for people who want just to be stronger to impress the ladies, but if someone here has experience in going to the gym and doing this, for example, what is your opinion?

I just posted this thread because I don't think it's well known around here. And if you want to have a good body, feel more realxed, but don't want to work your ass out in the gym, then tai chi is the answer to your wishes. (the book said something like that lol).

Great contribution interceptor. :D I always love the stuff you post. i'll see when I have the time... I bet it's good!

Yep I would have to agree that it's essential to health these days, with so much stress around. I read that if you have stress in the joints, the main flow of energy in the body will be disrupted, which will lead to lots of trobules, ending in disease. Don't dismiss this, just because it may sound wacko. Try it!! The book I'm reading (This book like saved my life!) called step-by-step tai chi has a whole chapter with simple exercies, just to keep the most important joints cheked. Out of all things I know, these exercies are the most valuable thing. I could help anyone out if I tought them this.... Once I felt I was going sick, because I was like 4 days home doing nothing (I couldn't walk) and I felt sort of weak, but those were a huge help. Plus, it's so slow and simples that everyone can do it, and it takes just 5 or 10 minutes. It's beautiful. I can't believe the luck I had getting that book. I recommend it for everyone, I really think it would help a lot of people out. It's so simple and the results.... aaamazing!!!!! My body would like be twice as bad if I hadn't started doing this. I obviously now do the exercies every day. I could talk more about it, but I'm afraid someone would fall asleep reading my wall of text. What can I say more? In my opinion, it would really really help a lot of people, that's why I'm stressing!
