Anyone got any tips on dating swedish girls? I met/pulled one last night, got her number and said i'd call her next week to arrange going for a drink. She's over here until May and only lives 2 miles up the road (bargain).

Just wondering if there's anything I should know or if usual rules apply

I knew some Norwegians awhile back (since left the states) and they were awesome. Aside from the drop-dead gorgeous looks, the personaliteis were incredible. Really into "good guys" not "bad boys" like American beyotches.

I've been there. The women are no nonsense and very egalitarian. That is what their society is like.

I wouldn't pull all these stupid mindfvck games that us American men are forced to pull to get girls. I think for Swedish girls you should just focus on showing her a good time. Make her laugh and initiate a good amount of kino (appropriately). If she isn't some 19 year old Swedish girl, then I think she'll appreciate some directness and manly action. I hope I made some sense.

I had a fling with a 19 year old Swedish chick some years ago when I went to Spain as a student. I also briefly dated a Norwegian exhange student.

Let me tell you, they are a far cry from the stupid stuck up bytches you see here. They are direct and to the point like the others said. They will not play games. If they like you, they will let you know right away . They have virtually no ASD because they view sex as natural and not something to be embarrased about.

Best of all, they are well educated and cultured as well as beautiful. Actually the Norwegian girl was probably the best looking chick I ever went out with and that was like 7 years ago.

I heard that Danish and Iclandic chicks are also awesome. Before I die, I definitely want to sample a smorgasbord from all the Scandinavian countries.

Well, I am coming home in about two weeks and I can't wait to get back to the usual hot ladies. I've been to over 20 different countries and the only one that can compare to good ol' Denmark is Sweden, which might just edge it a bit.

And yes, our 'she's alright' standard is indeed 'smoking hot!' by anyone else's standard. It's a good life.

Lol, dude that doesn't mean you'll be swimming in Swedish puzzy or anything. They are fair and open-minded, but I've found that they are also a bit aloof (most Swedes seem to be that way). So they require an inordinate amount of work to loosen up a little bit. It's not a walk in the park with these girls. They are all a very good and fairminded people, though.


However - once they consume some alcohol and are in the mood to party - WATCH OUT!

have to agree with everyone here. Here at University of Queensland, Australia we get people from all over the world. The Norwegians are definately up thier, with blonde hair and very good sense of style.They love to party and willing to talk to anyone, which means no need for neg hit, unlike some of the stupid stuckup biatches here. That's different. Those Norweigian girls in Oz are just being more outgoing because their abroad. They can be themselves and not worry about their friends and family taking notice. Also, the people they meet abroad are eager to befriend an interesting/different foreigner like them so it's easier for them to be more open. This is the reason why us guys feel more confident when we're abroad (not everyone I guess... but I do), and girls get way more slvtty than they usually are.

My brother married a Swede and lives in Sweden. I hate to say it, but he is so AFC with her that it is almost sickening. she is definitely no nonsense (maybe its the cold climate). When I visisted him a couple of summers ago I noticed that the people were somewhat reserved and not nearly as friendly as in Florida. I really enjoyed getting to know my sister in laws familly. Good People.

Is she much better looking than he is? That might make him feel pressured to be extra accomodating to her as not to piss her off.
This is especially the case if he doesn't have the social standing (money, respect from people) to offset the imbalance in looks.

Or is she simply unreasonable, and he a complete spineless turd (no offense)? Does she expect him to be caring and give her good sex when she herself gets out of shape and neglectful? I'm curious to know.

In my experience Scandinavian women are indeed no-nonsense, and MUCH better looking than British or American women. I've been to Copenhagen (Denmark) a couple of times and was chatted up by several attractive women in clubs etc. Well worth a visit!
