When I engage in athletic contests and other things that involve running, I tend to sweat easily and sometimes profusely very easily although I'm not tired...is there any way to control the excessiveness of sweat?

Yep. It's a health question, so it's only natural...:D

Oh yeah, I'll try answering the question now, since I had time to think.

- Try using an anti-perspirant. That helps keep you from sweating and might work.

Applied all over his body?

Go to the dermatologist - they have a pill now that reduces excessive perspiration. I forget what it's called, but I used it for a while just to see how it worked.

Well....how did it work? I also have this issue. I'm less tired than my teammates/opponents, but I'm like dripping in sweat. It makes me look really sexy without a shirt, but with one, I feel like a sweaty pig...even though pigs don't really sweat.

I was only using it to get rid of sweating under my arms - apparently it didn't do so well, as I had to get DrySol - but I don't recall sweating anywhere else when I was on it. I'm sure the derm can give you a sample packet to try out first.

yeah, it pisses me off when people ask me if I've been doin exercise or something even though I've been out in the sun only 10 or 20 minutes without doing rigorous activites. It pisses me off, yeah..maybe I'll just shoot myself.

I have dry skin and allergies and I find that when I do intense cardio my skin gets very hot and itchy. Doesnt do this when I do weight training though. Would anti perspirant help this?

Diaphoresis (profuse or increased perspiration) is commonplace amongst teenage boys. Though if it makes you self conscious and you don not wish to wait a few years for the problem to naturally correct itself, you could always see a dermatologist to have the condition addressed *immediately*.
