How do you guys control sweat patches? This year they've really become a problem for me at school - it's the combination of a thick uniform, hot and humid weather, and ineffective antiperspirant. I'll have huge sweat patches under my arms. While sweat patches seem to be common among my uniform (we switched to a new one this year), mine are particularly bad. And the measures other people take (e.g. wearing an undershirt, which I do every day) don't seem to work for me. We're outside for at least an hour a day, not including lesson changeover times. I use Speedstick 24/7, and while it seems to reduce my patches a pit, it's not a huge difference. I'm really starting to despair.

So how do you control those hideous sweat patches?

I have the same problem I sweat FAST...and its usually only the right armpit which is strange.

I've gone through lots of deoderants to stop the sweat and have only found 1 product that really does work

Certain Dri

Try that out should help. After the 3rd day I wasnt even sweating under my armpits.

Anti antiperspirants screw with your body. There's a reason you sweat, because you're overheating and your body is trying to cool down. Don't mess with that.

You can always try a regular deodorant (for smell only) and take cold showers whenever possible to regulate temperature through the day. Also, try to get clothes made of wicking/breathable fabrics which besides pulling moisture away from the body they do help cool you down. Whatever you can get away with. Pants and undershirt you probably can replace.

As much as I would like to go natural, I really could live without the huge sweat patches.

I don't really have a choice for the fabric, because it's a uniform. Normally, sweat patches aren't a huge problem, not with t-shirts or even most dress shirts. But there's something about this uniform that just seems to display them really easily. And showers throughout the school day aren't really a possibility - I'm a slow shower-er anyway.

So antiperspirants are the solution that's glaringly obvious in a situation where I can't change much. Any other (affordable) solutions are welcome, though.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

So you can't replace the pants and white dress shirt? Those HAVE to be from the school?

Cold shower in the morning. Wakes you up, keeps you cool for awhile.

I'm gonna tell you something, you don't have to believe me, but its the certified truth, I know from my own experience.

Underarm sweating is caused by Lung Qi Deficiency.

To control your underarm sweating, you must tonify your lung qi.

Or just use anti-persps... but like you found out, a serious sweating problem is very difficult to contain with most types of anti-persps.

Do you smoke? That was the killer for me, when I gave up smoking, my underarm sweat dramatically dried up.
