I plan to eat 5 meals a day but instead of chugging down protein shakes I figure I could get in a lot more calories easier by just taking a "shot" of protein every meal along with a fixed "supplement meal"
For example:
I prepare a 500 calorie meal.
My supplement meal would be
2 scoops of whey: 100 calories
Meals 1-4: 1 piece of fruit/Meal 5: 2 servings V8: 100 calories
1 serving almonds: 150 calories
Total calories: 850
I like the way this is set up because this way I have more flexibility in preparing my main meals, Im putting in a lot of protein, and I get a consistent inflow of fruits, veggies, and nuts.
Any feedback would be appreciated
