If you want to get tan, using suntan lotion with 15 SPF is counter-productive (assuming it exists...). Sun Protection Factor is used to BLOCK the sun. Why would you want to block the sun if you want to tan?

Dude, whats the point. Either u wanna get darker or u wanna get lighter. Such a low SPF will not protect you, and will simply lower the amount you tan. It's counterproductive.

No, he's saying that you would tan better with NO lotion.

It makes NO SENSE to wear a lotion with SPF because the things it protects you from are the things that make you tan!

Sun Screen protects you from sun.

Sun Tan cooks you with sun.

There's a difference, but if you want to DARKEN anything with an SPF rating will HINDER it.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

spf 15 exists. But it is really strong and you have to be for atleast 2 hours or 3 to get a tan. My sister vcouldent really get dark useing it.Spf 8 is straight.

You get a sunburn from being in the sun too long, not from 0 SPF. Yes you can tan with a lotion that has SPF, but not as well as without it. Any SPF will just force you to stay in the sun longer to get the same amount of exposure.

Learn how long you can stay out without getting burned and keep stretching that limit every day to build a tan.

Lotions without SPF can help in two ways. 1) Your skin stays hydrated so you don't get all dried and cracked 2) You absorb more sunlight so you don't have to stay out as long (but you're still getting the same exposure). If neither of these are appealing to you, don't waste your money on a lotion.

I have a tanning lotion with factor 2 protection.

Why to use it, or even if it had factor 6 protection? Because it gives you small protection, concentrates the sun a bit more on you, and its also gives you some hidratation to your skin, allowing you go get more sun exposure while hidratating you.

I doubt any lotion would stick to you when you surf...

i wear a shirt when i surf.

Well you're not going to get a tan with a shirt on...

Are you guys ****ING RETARDED? get educated..

NOT putting on sunscreen is counterproductive.. not the other way round..

why?? cuz sunscreen blocks out the harmful parts of the UV.. without it, you will get a sunburn and guess what? you won't get a good tan when you get sunburnt.. and NO, SPF simply indicates the duration of the sunscreen, not how much it blocks the sun. and it will NOT, I repeat, will NOT stop you from tanning, it is there to protect you.. if you want to enhance your tan, get those super tanning cream to put ON TOP of the sunscreen.. it will enhance the bronzing effect.. and im not talkin about those self-tanners, those are for pussies.

****.. i bet half of you people don't even have a friggin tan.. stop giving out wrong information. and if you want to challenge my information, get educated first.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
