I'd like to recommend to high school students to take a theatre class or some sort of public speaking. Especially improv! if its available at your school.
You really learn to think quick w/ witty responses, as well overcoming shyness. It may very well improve your charisma+ sense of humor. Try it out guys.

I'd recommend any kind of class like that in high school and maybe even in college as an elective.. I took drama in high school and I don't regret it to this day. It was an awesome class that finally relieved me of my fear of getting up and talking in front of people. I soon realized that after I had completed my first improv in that class, I pretty much had no fear to get up in front of people.

For some reason, improv at are school is people who aren't funny who try to be funny, so sometimes they are funny, but they are only funny at the improv. It's kind of funny.

Public Speaking is good, but I have found out that some principals such as directing your whole body towards the target and using hand gestures frequently isn't so great when it comes to approaching and attracting women.
