Sucks being only 17

All of my friends are in their 20's (yes, this means I score with older women... because of this site. ha.), and they all went out clubbing. The club doesn't ID, but I decided not to take the chance and went home. Now I'm bored and alone.

Anything else you can think of that sucks about not being 18?

I can name a few.

-no legal tobacco
-no renting apartments, hotels, etc.
-no clubbing
-legally bound to parents's rules
-etc.

At least it's only like half a year away!

Seriously though, 30k ain't too bad if you have no debt and live in a cheap area. Otherwise it won't really get you far at all.

Just an estimate. But I have no children. Only debt is school loans!

Kind of sucks, but at 17 I bet you have no clue what's really involved in getting your own place. Yes, it's a hell of a lot better then living with your parents but theres also a lot of responsibility/bull**** to deal with...especially apartments with multiple units.

Haha I'll give you this one. Just gotta grin and bare it for now.


How about the positives?
- Don't have to come up with rent every month
- Don't have to pay electric/gas/tv/internet bills every month
- don't have to pay car payemnts/maintenace
- No real responsibility - you can do whatever you want with your free time!
- You can do something dumb and its "OK" because you're young where as if you got in a few years from now you're expected to know better
- Home cooked meals!
- Mom does all the cleanning around the house

I actually don't smoke cigarettes. I smoke cigars/pipe tobacco when its given to me.

I've tried to hang out with kids in high school, but that's just it.
I'm beyond my age in wisdom, which is egotistical to say, and these kids literally look like children in my eyes. I can't stand to be around them. All they want to do is vandalize sh!t or smoke weed (I can be okay with the second option on occasion).

It's just boring to me. I'd rather hang with people who have fun in... fun ways.
