I bumped into an ex of mine from a year ago over the weekend at a function. My sis (who is quite a looker) was in town and with me. I figured it might be decent to introduce them considering the ex could get into some jealous rage if she thought I was "with her". My sister and the ex had never met, so false impressions could have lead to a really uncomfortable situation. I knew what she was going to say before I even introduced her--something to the effect of: well, we know who got the looks in the family (in reference to my sis). The first words uttered from her mouth. I'm not a model, but no slouch either. Funny, she wasn't complaining about my looks too much when we were dating...

She made a couple of other little remarks later in the evening, and she purposely got flirtatious with someone in front of me. A group of us were headed out elsewhere later, and I didn't let it phase me in the mean time.

A buddy of mine (loose acquaintance of hers) said he thought she was probably acting up because she wasn't over me. It was a pretty intense relationship that lasted 2 months and I ended it a year ago. I tend to agree. If she wasn't interested, why would she even bother with the comments?

Any opinions here?

I'm dating two other girls right now, but it would be nice to have something in my back pocket.

I dumped her. She was pretty demanding and it was driving me nuts at the time. Long story short, but a year ago, I was pretty drained from everything, ended up getting sick (mono) after I dumped her and she was still playing sweet on me for a couple of months after. She came over to my house sobbing after I ended it. Not a pretty breakup--especially considering how short our relationship was (a couple of months).

you dont want this one in your back pocket.

you dumped her for the reasons that you did and those reasons still remain.

she is currently playing games with you to make you jealous, flirting with someone in front of you.

you dont need her drama or high maintenance.

LOL, our already dating 2 other girls and you want to put this thing in your back pocket?

Can I ask you why?

Why would you want to bring that thing back into your life. Are you a sucker for drama. She sounds like a drama queen. The world must revolve around her and her drama.

Don't waste your time over a girl you saw for only 2 months a year ago??wtf!

In weak moments I remember the good qualities of my ex's. In strong ones I remember why I dumped them.

Does she want *you* back -- or the gf status? Is it about you, or her ego?

You've done two things right: dumped, and didn't look back. Keep on truckin'.
