Stupid fashion question: Rolling sleeves up

What is the best way to roll up the sleeves on a button up shirt? Sometimes I see guys who have it done really neatly and it stays put, and other times I see guys who look sloppy and keep having to readjust their sleeves every 5 minutes because they keep falling down.

I do this all the time. Let them hang all the way down NOT buttoned at all, let the cuffs be loose, fold it once, its gonna be really loose, keep folding it 1 inch or 1 inch and a half in length, keep folding until you reach your desired length
Remember dont roll them into a ball, Fold them flat.

Small folds could mess up the cuffs on a dress shirt. The trick is to wear shirts that fit you well (tailored if necessary) and then you can achieve that crispness that you see in the magazines. Can't expect that an oversized shirt will act appropriately if it doesn't fit.

Yeah that's what I do now, I usually do 3 folds and stop just under the elbow. Just wanted to know if there was a better way. I've heard some guys button the cuffs to the shirt somehow before they start folding?
