old news.

Men are genetically disposed to prefer youth. And in the old days of evolution, a naturall blond was proof of youth, as blond color tended to fade as one aged.

So men that had a natural inclination for blonds passes on more genes, yielding more men who preferred blonds. So even today blonds are preferred, despite all the possible chemical alterations.

Any indication of youth is preferable over an indication of age. Smooth skin, perky breasts, clear eyes, school girl uniforms...

I think you've got the blonde thing confused with the youth thing here, it's thought blondes are preferred because they supposedly have higher oestrogen levels, not because blonde hair is associated with youth. As you said, hair fades as we get older the melanins in your hair die and that's why you get grey hair, blonde hair has the least eumelanin and phaeomelanin too...so actually would be more closely associated with old age. I don't think it's really associated with either old age or youth.

MatureDJ, how many different women have you had sex with in the past year?

You seem to post ALOT of threads that are basically just articles from the internet, and without much comment or opinion from you, which makes it look like you are just trying to look cool in front of an internet forum at the tender age of 44.

Tell me I'm wrong.

That's kind of harsh!

I think the point of posting the articles is to highlight the extent of misinformation (or not?) that is out there in the general media.

I haven't been laid in a few years, as I have been stuck in the USA, with my failing business and resultant bankruptcy. I will be going to live in Eastern Europe soon, though, so I suspect that my success rate will change dramatically. :woo:

As for commenting about my threads, I figure that I have done enough just by introducing the subject. I do comment on other threads, however.

It is true about wealthy men and blondes -- that is why you often see those shiny new BMW's with a factory fit blonde in the front passenger seat .
Alternatively, the dealership can also have one fitted just before delivery and included in "on road costs" .

I also believe that there is a thriving demand in "after market " blondes. Easy installation- just locate one in an upmarket bar, buy her two tequilas and drive her home. She will install herself in your 'beamer' (and your apartment) at no extra cost.

Maybe.

From The Red Queen, by Matt Ridley:

Ridley in The Red Queen said:
That blond hair has been considered by Europeans more beautiful than brown or black hair has long been noted...Blond hair is a fairly common gene among Europeans. So when a mutation arose in the not-so-distant past, for blondness to last into adulthood but not beyond the early twenties, any men with a genetic preference for blond women would have found themselves marrying only young women, which - in a heavily clothed civilization - others might not have done. They would have left more descendants, and a preference for blond hair would have spread. This would in turn would have increased the spread of the trait itself because it would be an honest indicator of female reproductive value. Hence, gentlemen prefer blonds.

Although demand for aftermarket blondes may be decreasing due to the economy, economists are forcasting.

Before installing one, even temporarily, heed this warning...

There's a new scam going around that you install one, and when you get home, you've been hoodwinked. Remember, the carpet must match the drapes for a complete installation!

Mr OP is perhaps referring to the oft seen discrepancy between the woman's hair color and a contrasting hue "down there".

I believe that only real blondes deserve to be installed in real beamers. Is that unreasonable or unfair ? :cheer:

It's not unreasonable.
The carpet better match the curtains. How can you decorate half-assed? Demonstrates a lot of incongruency.

I always thought that wealthier gentleman had blondes on the side because of the fact that blondes seem to grab more attention from anyone else.
Anyone wealthy carrying a brunette on his arm is probably less apt to turn heads than a wealthy man side-arming a blonde bombshell.

That being said: Kailex doesn't like blondes.

I guess I'm not wealthy?

How many women are actually wearing their natural hair color? In the US at least it has to be less than half. If they're not dying it, they're frosting it or lightening it. Blondes especially will lighten their hair. Red is a popular color choice for girls who dye their hair.

Brunettes are the most likely to be natural, but even many of them change their shade or add highlights. Anyway, it's just girl stuff, it doesn't bother me.

When I was a young man I used to prefer blondes. One of my first girlfriends was blonde, and I was fascinated by the way her hair glittered in the sun like it was spun gold. That was cool, but when I got older I started to prefer brunettes, or redheads when I could get them.

Interesting topic.

Is it in my DNA that I am drawn to blondes or is it I just don't have any dam sense because she just happens to have nice glutes as well?

The problem with this attraction that wealthy gents prefer blondes is not all blondes are created equal for many are dyed blonde and are really brunettes and why do they do it? Is it the youth factor or it's just that they just stand out more being blonde? Remember black women even dye their hair blonde...why? And I might add some look pretty dam hot too.

Now what is considered wealthy? Someone posted someone driving a BMW if I drive the Z4 totally decked out http://autos.aol.com/cars-BMW-Z4-20...vRX0000000018&icid=search7model_modelpg&flv=1 does this make me wealthy alone or if I have a nice home to go with it a ski boat etc., as well?

What CuriousGirl wrote is interesting about blonde hair and what it is made up of and considering I am silver have always thought blondes go well with my color for as she wrote blonde hair and gray is made up of the eumelanin and phaeomelanin too and as far as I know that statement is 100% true for the shampoos I use to keep the yellows out are the same blondes use as well... and what taiyuu_otoko wrote is interesting as well.

I reckon wealth definition is different depending on who is making the accessment and where you live but blonde does have appeal and wonder what it really is that makes it so is it really in my DNA or is it the youth factor or the stand out factor?

I think women do it for the same reason a lot of guys on this forum try to be the bad boy or whatever. They get a confidence boost by trying to be something they're not. Perhaps they think they themselves are not likeable, so they change who they are and hope that will get them some attention from the opposite sex.

I've noticed around here a lot of people have chosen to have nice cars, but once they make their car payment they can't afford to have a nice house to go with it. If you drive around the low rent district here in town, there are a lot of nice cars parked in front of shabby houses.

Conversely, there are a lot of nice houses with older cars in front of them. Personally, I'd rather have the nice home if I had to choose. It won't rust quite so quickly.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Rich men don't prefer blondes. Rich men prefer good-looking women, like all other men...they just tend to snag them more often because their wealth often allows them to show women a better time.

I think blond hair on a woman tends to draw attention away from and mask other imperfections. It's easier for a blonde to "look good" than a brunette.

I would like to disrepute the results of this study based on my own personal experience.

I've dyed my hair blonde several times before in the past (I normally have brown hair) and the number of rich guys wanting to be my sugar daddy as long as I show them a good time (no f*ckin' way would I shag them!) is still very low...

Ps - I am a guy, so does this affect the results?
