I've just got got back in the game a few months ago after a looooooooong relationship.

I hit on a barmaid every night, its become a running joke. But has a high rate of success, so i hit on a barmaid thats hooooooot as **** one saturday in a busy nightclub, i hand her my phone, she puts her number in it and rings herself on it, i smile at her and walk away.

I txt her the next day (she to txt her about a party or something) and she doesnt reply. a day later she txt saying her phones playing up and asked how i was, i reply, no reply... for like 4 days. I **** up and txt her again asking her if shes on facebook (this is a mistake- i know im not suposed to txt twice without reply). she replys saying 'who is this? ive lost all my numbers?'

I see her a work the following sat, shes really not very chatty and kinda walks away from me, i shrug and continue my night. I txt her saying 'hey, just tell me to back off, no need to blank me, have a good night' (which i regret the next morning) i delete her from facebook as a lost cause.

she sends me a message 4 days later saying 'hey dont have your number, replaced my phone again! sorry ive been really antisocial with everyone this last week. had a big project in for uni so been really busy, got it in this morning, hope your well, x"

I reply, saying 'jesus woman how many phones do you go through?" a bit vauge but i didn't wana be like 'ok cool, wana go out now?' 2 days later no reply.

Is she psycho? nexted or what? kinda dont wana waste it cus shes a good 9. im kinda stuck at how to handle the situation. Any advice apreciated.

Her phone was acting up??? Right here I would have just groaned and probably deleted her number. A woman's phone is her lifeline. There is NO way her phone was acting up. What, she got a text the whole day after? She really didn't care to know how you were... she just wanted to see if she could string you along at this point.

She's not psycho, she's looking for tips. She's smart. Savvy.

You DON'T handle this situation, you move on. And PLEASE, go to another bar from now on... and this "running joke" of yours... STOP IT.
Hitting on a barmaid is NOT a challenge. Of COURSE they are going to flirt back, they want your money. Start flirting with girls that are AT the bars, spending money.

ha, good thats all i wanted to know. i left out that she sat on my lap and kissed me a few times after her shift when i was hanging out with the manager (a mate from university) and kept brining me beers after it shut. (i dont know how i left that out) so it wasnt just a case of getting a girls number behind the bar. - im sure there WAS attraction there.

but yeah she played me, good on her.
