I think physique has little to do with anything. Want proof? Go to a club or bar this weekend, and check out the hotties with boyfriends. The boyfriends/hubbys are closer to average guys than Ronnie Coleman.

Gosh!!! I jst think the guy has given u some actual proof to back up wat he said,....unlike u. Since when does a statement u made with no backing constitute proof?

The first stripper says she loves muscle guys "but my boyfriend is skinny" I guarantee you that Hef's three blondes would gag at Jay Cutler's arms, and lick the arm of Hugh, filled with age spots and wrinkles.

Fair enough. Although I wonder how much it is his money as against personality.

The answers line up so well with my expectations that I sort of wonder how much to believe. First, this is us listening to what women are saying and secondly they are strippers, not that that's a bad thing but they are experts at being what men want them to be.
Strippers are hilarious. I read the book "Strip City" by Lily Burana, and she has the market cornered as far as being an Egomaniac, as is the average stripper. They live for the gym and the tanning/nail salon in the daytime, as well as catalog shopping, and sleeping. They come alive at night, like vampires. They spend lots of time in front of a mirror applying eyeliner and lipstick, and deciding what outfit will get them the most cash for the night. Then, if they desire they can call up a sucker/customer who will happily chauffeur their ass to work. Once at work, their lives revolve around loud music, cigarette smoke, drinks, and working the pole and the room. They have their regular customers, who often have money and become addicted to their attention. As long as they are making $$$ to include big tips, they will sacrifice the entire night to these pathetic men, and only dance for them, and converse with them. Their workday begins as the sun goes down, and ends as the bar closes for the night. Then, they get escorted by the bouncers to their ride, which could be a Porsche or a Vette, funded by lonely men, a cab, or the same dumb slob who got them there in the first place. Who drives them home, and gets a little BS hug for his gas, and goes home, to pathetically mastrubate and call the stripper's name out as he climaxes in pure sexual frustration.

The amount of money these sluts can pull in for "dancing" ranges from small sums to obscene, enough to pay their way through college, or pay off mountains of bills to include expensive cars and homes.

That's funny, I didn't see one response extolling the hotness of fat guys. Hmmm,...

You can get girls being skinny or with muscles.

Some girls prefer one while some girls prefer the other. Some girls are in the middle. If I had to clump all girls into a group, I would say the overall most preferred body type is the mesomorph. Broad shoulders, narrow waist. Likely around 6feet tall and 190lbs. But...plenty of these types walking around that get blown out by 5'8 skinny dudes.

The only absolute truth that can be stated is that its your frame, your worldview, and your identity which ultimately determines attraction. Such things as physicality can be helpful, but in the end, are not going to make or break the interaction.

Have guys been laid simply because of their looks and/or build? Sure. Is it as consistent as being an authentic man who attracts because of how he interacts with the world? Most assuredly not.

Although quite a few were OK with what I would consider heavy guys, but they all wanted masculine traits more than requiring a cut and lean fella. They mostly seemed to want big chest, shoulders, arms and so on.

The best stripper response:

I'm not that picky so long as he has a great big thick...

What that thread illustrates is like I said in a similar thread - contrary to what the media often tells us, all women do not go ga -over big muscles and some are actively turned off by them. And there is a sizable proportion of women, presumably not desperate fuglies, that actively prefer skinny guys.

But be in shape, get muscley if that's what YOU want, but don't expect it to be the magic pill when it comes to attracting any woman you want.

I disagree Nighthawk. I thought it was clear that most of the girls in that thread liked muscular men. Only a small few indicated they preferred skinny guys. The key here is to be Men's Health cover big, not the cover of Flex magazine. That's the type of guy that most girls on the bell curve tend to find attractive.

Having experienced every point on this spectrum, I can say being very big definitely turned off some girls and some of the girls I dated tried to subtly convince me to stop gaining weight. But of course I wasn't doing it for them, so their pleas fell on deaf ears. It did attract its fair share of girls too, but I won't lie they were mainly of a sluttier breed. Now that I am muchhhh smaller, but what would be considered an above-average build still (6'1 195 low bodyfat) girls love my current look and it definitely shows. I agree you don't NEED to fit a certain body type to pull girls, but it certainly helps (and the praise certainly doesn't hurt the ego either).

Finally, as I said I have been at every point on the spectrum and I can say being skinny sucks, and that's the bottom line. Once someone sees the difference between the skinny them and the muscular them, I don't think many people would be advocating skinny. It's more of a denial type thing (I don't want to change because this is who I am).

Working towards those muscle types is a great goal for us all to attain, plus having done so it builds confidence.

My point is, women are going to be more attracted to a muscular body type (not necessarily ripped/jacked), and in working towards that we also build confidence along the way.

Honestly, I'm not that picky when it comes to a man's body. I just want someone who is bigger than me so I can snuggle and feel safe and cuddled.
Everyone should read this....its primal reasoning behind being attracted to a muscular man.

ALSO, what is the difference between a scrawny guy and a skinny guy?

Count up the posts, there's about 13 saying they prefer skinny or lean but with some definition (ie not a 10 year olds body) versus a similar number who express a preference for burly beefcake. And a couple of chubby-chasers in there too.

I said a sizable proportion. Perhaps it's your preference (you hated being skinny) that read the thread as largely pro-muscles.

Yea, the safest place to be is somewhere in the middle, but I'm pointing out how many women, strippers even, find skinny a turn-on. I think that would come as a welcome surprise to many of the people here who think they have no chance with a hottie if they don't hit the gym.

After some thought, I'm gonna go out on a limb and answer my own question.

Nighthawk you are probably thinking about a SCRAWNY guy. No girl likes that, unless they have much more to offer.

A "skinny" guy, rather, has muscle, is what a layman would call "toned," and is in great shape.

Yeah, but you know how women are. They don't really know what they want.

I love skinny guys
Not scrawney. Skinny. There's a difference.
I love my tall skinney white boy, lol!

He's thin, but muscled and lean. A wirey lean build.

About 6 foot and 155-160lbs.

And YES he has the V!!!!!!

Not really my thing for guys that are muscled up and can't put their arms down, lol. If they can't move normally how the **** are they gunna be flexable enough for wild monkey circus sex?!

I like em lean and flexable as I am, lol!
I like guys that are thin but toned/slightly muscular. I don't want guys to be super bulky like He-Man. But I don't want them to be scrawny sticks with no definition and a 10-yr-old's body either.
I like skinny but muscular. My boyfriend is like that. He's tall and skinny but perfectly manly. He's soooo strong, he makes me feel dainty.
And most of the ones who want a "big guy" really wanted someone with alot of muscle but not at all cut (as in, linebacker physique.)

Also, what a girl says she wants can easily be different than what she really wants.

Skinny, scrawny and thin mean the same thing. Having low body fat and low muscle content. Guys like that give off an impression of being weak.

Most girls on that site wanted a guy who had some muscle. Nobody said they wanted a bodybuilder type guy and several said no to it. Girls want a guy who is stronger than them, who is powerful and can protect or dominate her.
