When you are in the shower, can you barely see your feet because your bulging stomach is in the way? Do you have more than one chin? Is your face rounder than it should be?

If it is, you are overweight or obese my friend and YOU WON'T ATTRACT (despite what the "experts" say) attract cute/hot women unless you have money/status/power in place of it.

I am thoroughly CONVINCED (based on my experience and my roomates) the EASIEST and QUICKEST WAY to attract good-looking women is GET YOURSELF A NICE BODY! I am not saying you have to be huge or a muscle head but get your body toned and add some muscle. A NICE BODY is even more powerful than height (A 6'2 slob is still a slob and I have seen some short jacked dudes with hot women).

I am 6'0, 185lbs and have a pretty good body (not great, but not bad at all). I get decent amounts of looks from chicks and seem to have atleast one cute/hot girl interested in me EVERYTIME I GO OUT. My roomate is 5'11", 175lbs and he is in a fantastic shape. He has hotties checking him out all the time. In the last week alone:

A HB9 yelled across the bar as to why he never came over to talk to her.

He put a pic up on www.hotornot.com; within a few hours a hottie wrote him back and the next day was over our house for a makeout session.

THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN TO ME OR HIM IF WE DID NOT HAVE NICE BODIES OR IF WE WERE REAL SKINNY!

If you are ultra skinny, girls will perceive you as weak and if you are out of shape girls will perceive you as lazy and gluttonous.

DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF WHAT A NICE BODY CAN DO FOR YOU!

START SHEDDING THOSE POUNDS AND ADDING MUSCLE NOW!

I think this is still half the battle though. If you're not mentally believing that you are a hot new version of yourself, you're still going to see the old undesirable person in that skin.

My problem wasn't losing weight, but I think it can still apply. Skinny guys are more desirable than fat guys most of the time, but they both still trail far behind in the wake of the muscular dudes.

Over the last 2 years I realized that I needed upgrade my scrawny body I graduated high school with and start turning into a chiseled mofo.

I ate like a pig and hit the weights really hard over my sophomore year of college. Went from about 170-195 lbs. (I'm 5'11" tall). I like to play a lot of basketball, so I wanted to still preserve more of an "athletic" body than "jacked-out-of-his-gourd" look overall.

But now I should be pretty happy with my added muscle, but sometimes I still see that scrawny little guy in the mirror. Male friends have told me that I definitely look bigger, but I usually deflect the compliments because I still don't fully believe it in my head. And what hurt me psychologically a little bit was that I did not notice a different response from women as far as them "checking me out." This is why I still had trouble convincing myself that spending 5-6 hours a week in the weight room has been worth it.

I'm getting better about appreciating the work I've actually done, but it's easy to see that smaller version of you if you aren't getting better results with the ladies. Also, no matter how "jacked," "ripped," etc. I become, there's always a guy around who is more so, and it lends to feelings of inferiority.

Belmar, that second paragraph was a really strong point.

It is part of the fine print in any PUA book that is for sale.

Have you ever noticed that most of these "guides" written by "experts" all say you can get women no matter how fat, ugly, skinny, poor, or old you are? Your personality matters. Bah! Only to keep a girl, but to actually get the girl (which comes before keeping the girl) is totally different.

I noticed that the girl has to give you a chance or you're out. So you gotta have something going for you.

This reminds me of something Duffdog would write. Be attractive, be rich, be high status. If you got any of these, you have something to actually be confident about and you don't have to be a fake. You also wouldn't be visiting any more PUA websites cuz you'll be occupied in bed with a honey you met 20 minutes ago.

I read the title of the thread, I read who the author was and I knew it was going to be about looks!

GET OVER IT, YOU NARCISSIST!
You've made your point 68 times by now!!

Everybody knows looks matter, but not everyone is obsessed over them as you are. (since you are a freaking narcissist)

HAVE LOOKS = easier to win, but not guaranteed
DON'T HAVE LOOKS = the battle is far from lost

Get over it, you narcissist!

Now tell us how the less fortunate ones should have plastic surgeries and then go stick it into your own ass, you handsome bloke. :flowers: I know you'd **** yourself if you could (or your just as handsome buddy) :kick:

Belmar, good post. Also applies to those skinny-fat or scrawny people that should put on some muscle.

But, as soon as I read it, I knew that on this site it will be ignored, and you will be dissed. Because the sad pathetic, lazy dweebs here REFUSE to improve their looks and work on themselves.

Why do you have room mates? Do you get lonely easily?

How is that relevant? It's not. Unsportsmanlike behavior. Flag on the play.

It's the person who I am making fun of, not the advice, fella! Look at his posting history and you'll understand why.
Thanks for the compliments.

I disagree, looks and a good body will help to a HUGE degree (ie, if you are a fatass and getting good looking girls, get in shape and you'd better have a stun gun to keep all the women off of you) but Belmar is saying that no HB9 or whatever is gonna look twice at a guy without a great body/face. That's simply not true, it's just that having a nice body/face will help a LOT, but it's not the be all and end all.

It's relevant because I strongly suspect we have a guy here with no significant career, money, status, etc. who's trying to compensate for it by being a gym rat.

It's OK but I think it's critical to understand his viewpoint on that basis.

He's the equivalent to a rich guy who claims money is all that matters, essentially, or a PUA who claims it's all game, or any other one-dimensional argument. Added to that he seems to think the ONLY thing to offset looks is ... money status power. Things I suspect he's not yet developed.

I got belmars back for his thread. Belmar is 100% on point. And not a damn technique on this site could compare to having a great looking body. But i would also like to discourage anybody who is not in shape. If your considering getting a better body please dont do it. The work is very intense and you might suffer from muscle soreness. Also its whats on the inside that counts because girls are attracted to the liver, the intestines, kidneys, blood vessels and red blood cells and dont forget girls love a guy with brains because girls like to cut guys heads off and **** thier brains.

Life is about a lot more than getting women. A healthy body means you got the potential to experience life more than if you are a fat slob.
You would have a point...if this thread wasn't about drawing a correlation between having a healthy body and attracting women.

Most guys I know who have impressive bodies also have other things to match. Great personality, status or decent career. I mean it's not exactly cheap to build an awesome body. Especially if you're one of the bigger guys pushing 200+. Protein supplements and food bills add up and can get kind of high.

Most guys *I* know who look like that don't have the time to really have a career, and I don't believe it takes a $15,000 a month income to buy proper food.

Regardless of that .... how does that have anything to do with the OP?
