I know a guy who served in the military, young guy 22 years old, suffered a head injury while overseas and he is basically mentally retarded as a result of the head trama. I don't say that to be funny or demoralizing he just is, he's slow. But he is a good dude and has a heart of gold, and every once in a while i like to do **** with him beucase he really doesn't have a lot of friends and his family is full of druggies and **** and he doesn't like being around them.

Anyway, so today i went to a sports bar to watch some college football and i took him with me to get him out of the house and words cannot describe how close i came to pimp slapping the stuck up waitress we had, she was being such a **** to him. I Mean he can hold a conversation and **** but he rambles and talks about hsit that has nothing to do with **** and most people can tell something is wrong with him and just go with the flow so to speak but this ***** was just being a prude. on top of all that she just wasn't good at her job in general. I ordered some shrimp alfreado and it didn't come with shrimp lol and she sat me down on a table that was missing a leg. I left the woman a 30 dollar tip (Because we were there for an hour or so) and she didn't even offer me if i wanted to take my food to go with me and i had like half a plate she just wanted to get rid of my friend and he wasn't causing any harm or anything.


THis is what i am trying to say and i feel as strongly about this as i feel about anything. i don't give a **** what that woman wants out of a man, i don't care how hot she is (and she was pretty cute admittingly), i would and will never lower my self esteem to the point where i give a **** where this particular woman's ideas have any impact on my life in any way shape or form. Why do i want to **** a woman who is a ****ty, shallow **** of a woman? Why do i give a **** what she thinks about anything whatsoever?


That is when my dating life took off so to speak. when i said you know what low quality skank, **** off. i am better than that, i can do better than that, and you suck ass at life. you just happen to be cute.

too many guys give too many women passes on life simply because they are cute. when dealing iwth these women i can see why men get as jaded as they do.

I agree. Why settle for less? Your woman should WORSHIP you, and you can tell by her actions. Don't settle for garbage.

The catch 22, of course, is that a lot of guys are attracted to these women BECAUSE they're trashy, "hot", and low class. Especially when you're considering the player / bad boy lifestyle many are seeking after. They WANT the dumb sluts, low class bishes, and hot, easy skanks. All the complaining simply comes with the territory.

It's no different than the "nice girl" who becomes a dumb skank to attract these same kind of men. She was attracted to, and seeking after them the WHOLE time. As well as wanting to be "high class" and blah blah. Now that she fits the mold - she's still complaining about all the drama, heart break, etc that comes with it. Just like guys do on here.

It's never going to change. People are all about the looks, value, status, etc. Complaining is normal when you live in such a shallow society.

Then you also have to factor in all the other variables involved, such as low self-esteem, desperation, co-dependancy, etc. That's why they try to be the hero, focus on everyone else's problems, ***** about how horrible everyone else is (which in turn makes them not as bad), etc. Lotta projection and finger-pointing going around in all this whining. Everyone wants to feel special, to be wanted, to have all the nice ****, and all the girls, etc.

But I just can't get over the fact that you left a $30 tip to someone who you obviously did not think treated your friend with respect and did an overall sh1tty job. That's brutal bro. Plus, you were only there an hour, how much could two people spend in an hour to justify a $30 tip? Well, the answer is $150 at 20%. No way you spent that much.

There have been some long threads over on bodybuilding dot com on this very subject....tipping. People outside of the US are amazed at how much Americans tip. I try and tip right around 20-22% unless the service is terrible, as it appears to be in this case. But even I, a guy that is a decent tipper, sometimes have to question the amount that we Americans tip our servers.

There used to be a tipless restaurant in California that charged an 18% service charge for all meals and would distribute that 18% to the entire staff, not just the servers. As a result, the food was better (cooks were getting more money, thus happier) and the service was better as the waiters/waitresses didn't have to constantly worry about their customers deciding how much to pay them. All restaurants should adopt this system in America.

The system is very broken. Half the time, you don't even see the waiter/waitress you started with. Bus boy or cook brings you food, a random waiter will bring you additional drinks, etc. Its harder and harder for me to tip these days. I still do it as I said, but sometimes I really wonder.

The tip culture in europe is different, they only tip if the service is actually really good. From what I understand they tip about 50% of the time.
Junk waiters in the US being clowns and expecting people to tip them.

I don't care if you sat there for 10 hours. If she was treating your friend that badly, you should have left her 5% at best. At best. $30 for that? That is better pay than what most of the average worker makes, and she did a sh1tty job.
