One of the ladies I am talking with asked me about my living situation, and I said I have my own place. I then asked about hers and she stated her friend got married and she moved back with her parents to save money to buy a house. Would a 37 year old woman living with her parents bother any of you? I am not crazy about it for obvious reasons.

Don't see it as much of a problem if you have your own place but if I was also still living at home (for whatever reason) I'd pass.

Getting the "My parent's are out come over ;)" message is great when you're in your teens/early twenty's. Not so much when you're in your thirties.

Yea, I have my own place, but it seems a bit weird that a 37 year old is still living with her parents. Plus, she asked what are you looking for? Not sure how to answer the second part.

To me, a 37 year old living at home screams something which isn’t ideal; like a siren singing it’s melody in the distance.

However, like anything in life, the real reason for her setting up camp back at mom and dads is what would help me decide what to make of the situation.
If she’s clearly a great person who is simply stockpiling some cash to buy that house, I wouldn’t care too much or be overly concerned, especially if I had my own spot.

Its not weird. The cost of living in certain parts of the country are ridiculous expensive that it makes it difficult to afford your own place. Some people just arent as fortunate as others to able to afford it.

Sometimes people go through things in life and they have no choice but to move back in with their parents. Whatever her reason is shouldn't matter if you like her. I personally wouldn't care, but to each their own.

I have my own place which increased my chick banging ten fold.

Let’s be real here, even a 37 year old should not be house or flat sharing unless they are bad with money. All the older women I’ve seen have had their own places, girls my age all house shared. Younger ones tend to live at home although I was seeing a 20 year old with her own place, she was an absolute wh0re I banged her next to my old school outside 3 weeks ago. Girls with their own place will be getting maximum d1ck.

If you want to plate her what’s the big deal.

Respond to the “what are you looking for?” with “see where it goes” or any kind of variant to that.

She works for Bridgeport, CT Public Schools in special education for around 10 years. I bet she earns 70k+. I just remember three ladies I briefly dated who lived with their parents. One was 28, 33 and 38. Each had issues are were problems. It rings a siren in my head as well. All lived in affluent areas of CT or Westchester, NY. She also sent fifteen messages via Bumble app explaining why she's at home. I've heard that line before, same excuse. The other pics were of her and things she cooks or something. I didn't ask for them, but she did ask for a recent self pic; which I did oblige. IIRC, I saw her online last time I was online dating a decade ago with some of the same pics. It could be me, but something smells. Perhaps I am over-analyzing. You guys say I do that a lot. I moved out of my parents place right after HS without a pot to piss in. That was nearly 20 years ago. When I dated back then only one lady lived with her parents, and she was 26. Though, she moved out that year. I just don't know if this is something standard nowadays. Seems we're going backwards in life. I thought, with the dumbass METOO movement they wanted equality and to be treated fairly. If I was a dude, like flowtheory said and living at home at 26, let alone 37, I'd be looked at like there was something wrong with me. The area where I live is not expensive. Granted, this one lives in the Blackrock section of Bridgeport, so that is big money, however, one doesn't have to live their.

Seems like a bees nest. I'd like to fvck her though, but not sure if the risk is worth the reward. She seems a bit clingy already. Whoop, another text just came in.. Geez.

‘’The same thing you are looking for.”

No.
Mr. President, we do not all live in a mansion at 1600 Pennsylvania ave. While there's little chance of Melania walking in on you doing the deed, good chance that her parents would. ;'p

Pretty much this. The real reason why she is living at home is what is going to define to me whether it’s reasonable or not. Adding to that is whether it was recent or temporary, or whether it’s permanent and possibly since childhood. Recent and somewhat temporary is acceptable to me. Let’s say a breakup occurred... well going home to parents for awhile is acceptable. Or maybe housing market is crap for awhile, etc. As long as it has a further ‘adult’ purpose in mind. That is the main thing. Forward thinking. Living at home since say high school, or for many years... ehhhh no way. Something more permanent shows that she might have some issues (like you mentioned). Unfortunately this too might be the same case as those other women.

I suspect your gut has picked up something is not right here, and from what I’ve read, it might be true. Clingyness and such doesn’t lead to positive reinforcement of the situation either.

I didn't reply, hoping she just gets the hint and leaves me alone. We were originally chatting on Bumble, then this morning she found me on Match and sent me a message through match then went back to Bumble and sent more messages. Weird. I do not understand why a person would be living with their parents when they are fully employed as a public school teacher for several years now.

Run. You don't need that sh!t. If any person, man or woman, is living with their parents in their mid 30's and isn't going through a divorce or something to recoup, pass. There's a reason why she's living at home. These are the social losers that society has forgot. They may be winners in other aspects of life, but certainly not in terms of independence.
