I was talking to a friend about working out and stuff..and he asked me if I was using any supplements because his friend had told him they often put steroids in them even if it doesnt say that(which I kinda doubt, but whateva). But anyways I was trying to explain to him that all Im doing is eating enough protein and working out properly and that a couple of other guys who we know whove been taking steroids for quite some time hardly see any results from it, because steroids "only" help you recover faster, but if you still eat like a fool and work out wrong steroids wont make you put on 50lbs of muscle in a couple of days which some ppl think. I also explained to him that creatin (which im not taking at the moment because I wanna see if it did help me icnrease strength faster or not) didnt make u put on mad pounds of muscle either and that there were no studies showing that it was harmful in any way (though there havent been any long-term studies right?)...
Anyways Im just wondering if I was right when I said that steroids make your body recover faster and thats it? (plus the downsides of course..)
P.S.: Theres no way Im gonna start taking any steroids, actually I hardly wanna put on any morem ass and even if I couldnt Id be fine.
