I was just wonder if I can get similar results with the Machine in terms of bulking up. I know you use more stabilizing muscles and something to that effect. But my worries about my back hurt my most of my lifts in the gym rather then help.

Easyier said then done. I bike to everywhere plus weights and martial arts. It gets overworked then it hurts to do anything physical. I had to go to a ciropractor to get the tension out. cost me like 30 bucks

If back is really that much of a worry, than front squats are the answer - not smith squats. Smith squats are terrible.
What exactly is a front squat?

Stay away from the Smith Machine

Real, proper squats are the way to go if you want to build functional, full body strength. It involves the muscle chains of your body in the proper angle and sequence the way you would most likely use them in real life.

Real athletes (sprinters, football players, cyclists) all do barbell squats.

If you really want good information on exercise and strength training, look up CLARENCE BASS, MICHAEL COLGAN or STUART MCROBERT on Google, or get their books from the library or Amazon.

I feel these people are consummate professionals who have produced great results for average trainees and athletes alike, and their advice is far more valuable and more well presented than anything I or most people here can provide.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

If youre worried about hurting your back work on your form. If you do the exercise correctly it shouldnt hurt.

Try doing a front squat, its much more difficult to do and you end uo using less weight. It really helps with your form and reduces the strain on your back since you use half the weight you normally do and it forces you to completely straighten your spine.
