Don Juan
Guys-
I'm hoping to spend Spring Break (Feb 17-24) in the Caribbean with my girl. So I'm looking for your input from past experience as to where to stay, things to know before going, and any other insight you could provide.
Naturally, we're looking to go somewhere where we can have a great time, without the worries of bugs in the shower and undrinkable water. At the same time, we're looking for something affordable. Spartan, but clean. Something rather centrally located would be a plus too. As well as a place that offers an All-Inclusive plan (24 hour drinking FTW! ).. that's a definate necessity!
I've been looking around myself at the options, and from what I've read Acapulco is THE spot for nightlife. Now, I am not too crazy about clubs, but she is. I also hear that the beaches of Cancun are in a class by themselves, and that's more of what I dig.
Can someone shed some more light for me on the issue? I spoke to a travel agent today and she's mailing me a ton of info. But the more opinions, the better. Tell me about a place you stayed and enjoyed. Tell me if you went somewhere that royally sucked. Any help would be great!
Thanks guys!
