Guys-

I'm hoping to spend Spring Break (Feb 17-24) in the Caribbean with my girl. So I'm looking for your input from past experience as to where to stay, things to know before going, and any other insight you could provide.

Naturally, we're looking to go somewhere where we can have a great time, without the worries of bugs in the shower and undrinkable water. At the same time, we're looking for something affordable. Spartan, but clean. Something rather centrally located would be a plus too. As well as a place that offers an All-Inclusive plan (24 hour drinking FTW! ;)).. that's a definate necessity!

I've been looking around myself at the options, and from what I've read Acapulco is THE spot for nightlife. Now, I am not too crazy about clubs, but she is. I also hear that the beaches of Cancun are in a class by themselves, and that's more of what I dig.

Can someone shed some more light for me on the issue? I spoke to a travel agent today and she's mailing me a ton of info. But the more opinions, the better. Tell me about a place you stayed and enjoyed. Tell me if you went somewhere that royally sucked. Any help would be great!

Thanks guys!

you'll regret this. I had a buddy who took his gurl to one of the islands on Adriatic sea. He later said he wished he didn't do that. He run into so many hot chicks, but couldn't do a damn thing (she was right behind him keeping a close eye on him) - he was going nuts.

Point taken, but I think we'll be fine. If there are as many hot girls as you say, I'm sure we can find one who'd like to join us! :woo:

I'm more interested in any info you guys have on places to stay. But I'll keep that in mind!

Get ebay #8723778208. It's a lot less noticeable and insulting for you to pour your water into it than it is for you to whip out a pump and start filtering your water at the table. If you want a larger size they offer the Micro XR.
