I went out to a bar last night where there were PLENTY of attractive girls. I tried my best to maintain a positive, confident attitude. However, it seems like most of the girls I made eye contact with just sort of "humored" me. For example, they'll smile and laugh, make some kind of suggestive comment, or even touch me, but then they'll immediately move on to some other location or even some other guy.

What am I doing wrong when this happens? Am I not projecting enough confidence? I try my best to maintain a confident, positive attitude, but it's not always easy when crap like this happens.

Does this kind of behavior from women indicate something in particular that I'M doing wrong? I don't want to be humored like this. I'd rather these girls just snub me than pull that fake shiat.

ive had this problem before were women talk to you and they seem like they are interested but as soon as they see something better they leave you high and dry . these women just want to talk to someone until the guy they want to f**k walks in the door( usually a better looking guy) .

dont take these women seriously and ignore them. ive seen them move from guy to guy they look stupid and crave attention from men. these are not LTR material but if you can nail her do it then next her . teach them a lesson and move on.

It's not even THAT...they don't spend ANY time. They just smile or laugh or say something in passing and KEEP MOVING, like they aren't even interested to begin with.

I'm not sure whether I should be taking some kind of steps to make them stay (grab them, put an arm around their waist or what) or if maybe I'm doing something that turns them off and they're just "being nice". I was wondering if it was a sign that my "game" is somehow flawed. Maybe they can see through the confidence shell I try to put up?

And I DO ignore them or laugh them off if I get that shiat, but even if I do that, I still end up waking up alone in the morning.

are you just sitting down and smiling at them ? if not them try approaching them and when they pass by you say hi and get their attention and start a convo with them.

It doesn't come off looking desperate if you stop them and try to strike up a conversation while they're on the move like that? I would think it'd be an uncomfortable disruption to what they're doing.

Or is that what I WANT to do? :D

Desperate? Calling every 5 minute, meeting each day, telling her live means more then your live, supplicating the entire time, telling her you will never love someone more the her, etc...
That's desperate.

Walking up to someone to talk is socializing, notting wrong with that.

You think talking to a girl makes you desparate?? What do you expect them to do, hop in your lap and say "fvck me right now!" just because you smile at them when they pass you??

No, it's not like that...I'm talking about girls who are "on the move," in other words, girls that just happen to be passing by on their way to somewhere else. It's OK to stop them and engage them in conversation if they appear to be headed somewhere else? That doesn't come off as intrusive?

I think Squirrels may have to change his username, because everytime I see his name i just think "...". I can't take anything he posts seriously anymore. Just shows you how one mistake can follow you around for life...

HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what happened to the "..." thread, don't tell me the mods removed it. That was good, honest fun. Nobody was being flamed. I liked reading it because it was hilarious, a good example of natural humor by fellow DJ's. I guess you give you give some people a little power and it goes to their head...

Am I the only one who is a bit shocked that Sosuave removed the now famous "..." thread. It was all in good taste, it was all innocent humor. No was flamed or offended. Don't you all agree. It was a chance for DJ's to share their sense of humor and comedic skills.

I was stressed out at work yesterday, and I brought that thread up and read it, and it had me laughing and put me in a good mood. I'm not sure why a mod would have chosen to delete the thread. I haven't criticized the mods before, but this time they've clearly overstepped their bounds.

Oh well, ...

LOL...I don't really care...I just think it's kinda funny how everyone made a big deal about it. It originally had some content, because it was supposed to be a reply to another thread, but I couldn't delete it so I replaced the content with "..."

But seriously...it's OK to try to grab a girl's attention given this situation?

Yes, OK, "..." was funny, but I'm starting to get annoyed at the fact that no one takes me seriously since then.

I know it's f'd up dude...but you really might consider changing your name...that post was classic just because so many people decided to run with some wack arse tangent based on your honest mistake...it turned into something really friggin funny if you come here alot...so now any time you post, it's really only "..." that stands out...

If I have to do that, I'm gonna lose a lot of faith in this forum. I mean, funny is funny, but enough is enough.
