Nah they rarely ever do that. Either they don't reply at all or they send one word half assed replies hoping you'll get the message. Girls are cowardly like that.

People, not just women, like to avoid confrontation. By not telling the person to go away, you avoid confrontation. It tends to be the path of least resistance.

I bet most guys would do about the same thing if put in their shoes. I mean, if girls were texting you regularly trying to escalate, would you bluntly and politely tell all the ones you didn't like, every single time, "Sorry but I'm not interested" ... or after a while of this would you kind of just not give a sh*t and simply stop responding? Confrontation avoided, check. Ego boosted, check.

They choose the ignoring strategy because women are biologically programmed to seek harmony. Saying "I'm not interested" is too dangerous from their perspective, because it could disturb the harmony.

Women want to be liked. And this is incompatible with being brutally honest.

Men want to be respected. This is not incompatible with being brutally honest.

Women do this for a very specific reason: they want to have their cake and eat it too.

Women know that if they reject you directly... they'll likely stop getting attention from you. Attention is like oxygen to women. IF a woman is not sexually interested in a man, but thinks he has potential as a friend, utility or orbiter.. she will leave things up in the air and act mysterious. It keeps the man confused and uncertain of where he stands. As a result.. he tries harder and gives her more ego boosting attention.

A man that knows were he stands will walk away. A man who is in the dark will play her game. Women have been using this tactic to manipulate and control beta men for ages.

This is why I preach following the hard and fast rule of: If she won't submit you must quit. If a woman who won't do what YOU want... then her sex drive is not engaged.
