Some quick qs re: bulking/fat/excercises

Hey all, Ill keep this short:

1) Im gaining weight, and fast, but its mostly fat around my stomach area and not much on my arms. Im doing the skinny guy prog, any suggestions to convert that? I wanna get to 180/185lbs before i start cutting (im at 162 now).

2) Whats the BEST forearm excercise?

3) For HIIT, when you deduct about 400cals from your diet, can you take that away from one meal (400cals) or over the course of the 6 meals a day (e.g. take away 70cals per meal), or does it matter?

4) Whats the best way to perform squats without a spotter/power rack?

1) Don't fret about the stomach, that's the best tip I can think of... Just go through with the program.

2) Make sure you're doing dead-lifts and all the other compound movements.

1)you cant convert fat into muscle, but you probably mean u want to gain muscle and not fat by saying that right? If so you might just be eating too much (maybe you are not really a "skinny" guy and thus dont need to eat as much as somebody who is skinny by nature) and thus your gaining bodyfat and on the other hand expect to see results too quickly, because you hear that other guys have gained a high amount of pure muscle in a couple of weeks. (just a guess though)

2)Ive never worked my forearms out particularly, because they do get trained by pretty much all exercises and I couldnt care less about my forearms (as they arent scrawny by nature or something anyways). But you can do wrist curls, they should be effective. Same thing as normal curls but only with a wrist-movement.

3) I have no clue about HIIT but it should definetly not matter in my opinion.

4) ...pretty dangerous with no safety measures... :-/ I dont really get the question though.

I thought fat converted into muscle when you work it?

You're doing the skinnyguy program and you ask this question? The reason you're gaining fat is because you didn't read that book. It is one of the best resources I have ever found for getting new bodybuilders informed about their anatomy and nutrition.

He wasn't flaming, he was angry because you don't understand the simple basics. Muscle is created from proteins, and logically cannot be "converted from fat."

You get rid of fat (burn it), you build muscle, simple as that.
