Solo travel experiences?

So all of my friends and housemates have girlfriends now and spend absolutely zero time doing anything remotely fun or social. Getting tired of spending friday and saturday nights indoors, so I figure a solo backpacking trip to Europe is long overdue. Swedish and Italian girls are on the menu.

Keen to hear any tips or experiences being a single guy traveling abroad.

I've backpacked Europe before with my ex-girlfriend, so getting around and sorting hotels or whatever in a foreign country is nothing new

And what to do with these guys anyway? All long term mates, I feel kind of brushed by all of this. Always been into soccer, so maybe joining a local club would be a good way to meet new buddies? Sucks having no one to hang out with!

Expensive in Europe. You could live a lavish life style and bang a lot of women if you come to Russia. For a small fee I'll show you around and intoroduce you to life style that you probably wanted to attain but never could. You could come back with a gorgious girlfriend that is into you first and foremost.

I would pick just one country and visit it more completely. I've noticed Euro chicks are a lot more down to earth. I am Eastern European by heritage, and one thing a new guy from there complains about is the difficulty in banging American chicks. Ain't that a kick in the crotch! lol
