We talk alot about social conditioning, what we're told growing up and what we are continuously fed by the media.
We talk about not putting women on pedestals but making ourselves equal or higher in prority.
When we do attack these topics it's mid way into the relationship (boy has already met girl).
I want us to consider specific ways we subconsciously exhibit these traits (prerelationship)?
Digging deep, I start to realize there's a common hatred between men and a common "soft spot" for women.
It could be as a result of caveman mentality, every macho being a threat but today is that mentality affecting us?
Women are changing. Sheet. Women have changed. Have we? really?
Has this happened to you?
You see the picture of the dude who bangs a hot celebrity and all of a sudden you feel hatred/jealousy/envy/whatever against the dude.
You make indirect moves on your friend's girl? teasing the waters?
Have you noticed:
A man would quickly fight another man even if the girl actually said something seriously offensive.
Men physically fight boyfriends because of a girl, I'd never understand that reasoning. She's not even your girl!
Your girl invites her ex to where you'd be and your first thought would be how to outplay the ex rather than getting to know the ex or just being cool/relaxed rather than tensed and waiting for a reason to go off.
Men think of ways to outplay the boyfriend to get the girl
Men would find ways to humiliate or embarrass the boyfriend just to show off to the girl.
Why do we care so much?
Competing and fighting for her attention, body and love only puts her higher on the pedestal.
I'm starting to learn to be happy for the dude with the chic as I hope he's the man in the relationship. If the girl shows up naked at my front door, now that's a totally different situation.
This ideology means you continue to live your life being awesome, if the girl realizes you're the man she wants inside her, let her come to you so you can make her kum for you. Gone are the days where you actively try to take another man's woman. Some betas would put a gun to your head for that especially if it's his wife.
When it comes to being a DJ "survival of the fittest" applies to everything else but women. It does not mean which man could outshine the other for the girl. It means which girl could outshine the other for YOUR time and attention without coming off needy.
There are deeper ways we continue to make her know she's the prize, it'd take a lot of realization to uproot social conditioning but here's a start.
