I really like the idea of manipulating and persuading girls, any girl I want into doing what I wish for them to do. I want to be a professional type seducer. I think I have the mentality I just don't know where to start.

I've checked out 48 Laws of Power and a book on Persuasion to get me started somewhat..I need some insight though.

Those kinds of people end up quite unhappy most of the time. you would be better off learning how to create attraction in others, and using that to attract a good girl, and at least having some form of relationship. even being a PUA is better than being a seducer. This post seemed rather unintentionally funny, so I thought I would chime in on a subject that I have already done to death.

Why? And why delude yourself into thinking that’s even possible?

“Any girl” is such a farce. And how do you find that that would emotionally satisfy you in the long-run?

I need some insight though.

I can't help you on that one. What is the book about? If you gave us a basic idea of what the book suggests then maybe people could offer opinions on the advice given

I've read the 48 Laws of Power, it was recommended to me by a local politician I used to work for.

It's a good book for learning sneaky tactics either to spot them or to use them. It opens your eyes into the different dimensions of how people operate and teaches you that nothing is ever what it seems. Sometimes seemingly innocent actions or series of actions may lead up to a consequence you would have never expected.

By learning the 48 Laws of Power - that is 48 tactics that you can use to enchance your power - you become more aware of whats going on around you and also your mind starts thinking of ways to use these to your advantage in getting what you want.

I would say that book is far more useful for people going into business and politics, as it would teach you how to make the most out of the situations you're in. As far as how it applies to women, I suppose there are some specific laws of power in that book that might be applied to that field as well.

But none of those or few of those are things we already don't know as DJs, for example not being always available to raise your value, etc.

Several things seem to cause the desire to want to become the ultimate seducer. Having gone through this myself (as Deep Dish has pointed out), I have become convinced that the underlying theme that ties together those who aspire to this grandeur is a feeling that their life has somehow become out of control. Such a feeling can be the result of any number of things. So what happens is that they take the one thing that is universally sought after by men, sex with women, and cling to it wanting to have as much control over it as possible. That's my Oliver Stone theory about the whole thing anyway.

Most guys who do this seem to snap out of it, develop other more healthy interests and come to think of the time they spent trying to become the seduction master of the universe as largely wasted and in some ways mildly embarassing. However, a few so afflicted people NEVER resume a more "normal" life such as Mystery (pick up master and ASF legend for those unfamiliar with him).

Hahaha! Yeah, there was a while where it was hard to keep from posting. In fact, there were times when I actually ANNOUNCED that I was taking a break only to come back and give in to the temptation to post again in a weak moment, which I am sure looked silly.
