I know this kid, who loves basketball and has the idea that he can make the ultimate workout that will enable him to get into top form. He has3 day splits that looks like this
Mon
squats
front squats
good mornings
stiff legged deadlift
and weighted calf raises at a bunch of different angles
tues
30 minute biking
20 minute stairs
3 diff ab exercises
3 plyometric exercises that i dont know the name of
WEdns
bench
inclince dumbell
dips
military press
skull crushers
thurs
same as tues
fri
deadlift
powerclean
barbell row
pullups
chinups
barbell row.
then sat and sun he has agility speed drills and basketball drills which i imagine an intsense 3 to 5 hours
Now from my point of view it doesnt look that bad but the fact hes doing somethin everyday wouldnt allow time to rest and when i told him that he says he gets 9 hours of sleep.
hes 6 ft like 180 lbs and rather lean like me.
what could he expect from a routine like this? any increase in strength or vertical?
