Seriously guys,
I used to read this page a lot last year. It's improved my life so much; I owe my new found confidence and comfortableness around girls not only to my friends but to this website and the people on it.
But one girl has totally screwed everything up for me. Or, I've screwed everything up for myself because of one girl.
And there are five reasons why my buddy thinks I will NEVER get this girl:
1. I'm way too nice
2. She has a boyfriend
3. We work at the same store
4. She's a year older than me (I'm 16)
5. She "loves me like a brother"
Recently, this girl sent me an e-mail because she had no idea what to do or who to talk to. She told me that her boyfriend got drunk and cheated on her (turns out he didn't make out with her friend like she suspected, but a MALE friend of his). Gets even weirder. He tells her he's going to come over and talk to her. He doesn't show up until five hours after he said he would show up. By now she is very mad. After a long discussion and a lot of @!#$ spewing out of his mouth about how much she means to him, everything's "fine".
I'm asking her why she is back with this creep, who actually burned his house down by accident one time. This guy seems like such a jerk (yeah, yeah, girls are attracted to jerks) but more than that, he seems retarded. Yet she feels GUILTY about the situation because she's cheated on an ex-boyfriend of hers one time. I told her that this is stupid and that she should leave him. She says she is stupid for going back to him but it won't change.
She's also invited me to her house twice this week, one is a party, the other is just her and I. Her idea, too.
And here comes the sad truth: I am the ultimate AFC and am so stuck in the "friend's zone" that it's not even funny.
But I don't want to give up. I've worked way too hard. I know I'm too "nice" to her (ie. after my shift ended, I bought her a coffee because she had told me she had a rough night and was tired, and I brought it to her when she started her shift).
Everytime I see her, I always leave her laughing or smiling. She's constantly talking about me to our coworkers. I make her happy and she likes me, which is good.
But I want to get rid of this boyfriend of hers right away, because she really doesn't deserve a jerk like him.
I don't understand, I am so good with all these other girls. In the past few days, I received a girl's phone number and another girl telling me that she thinks I'm "great" and wants to go on a date.
Of course, those dates have been planned, but to be honest, I don't care at all about them. I am such an AFC. If anyone could help me get this girl...any advice? (Nothing to do with "next her")
