Is that a really an ioi. Also, girls get let down if you dont approach. I had a girl bvtch at me because I didnt approach her at some tailgate.

I used to think that it was but I doubt it nowadays and consider it just to be a nervous habit. I've run into plenty of girls who do that and got nowhere with them, meanwhile I've gotten dates out of others who don't do it. The one I've been dating for a few months now never plays with her hair, not even when we first met.

Anyhow you have to look for multiple indicators happening together, just one is rather meaningless. Like if you're sitting down talking while she's smiling, looking you in the eye, and got her feet pointed towards you while playing with her hair? Then you have an IoI.

I definitely think the hair stroking is an ioi, but I have serious doubts about foot pointing.

Simple smiling is a huge ioi. Add to that the hair thing and you're in.

I also think that pupil dilation is a crock. How the heck can that be a reliable indicator when lighting, alcohol, and the position of Pluto all affect that?

Zerro is right, just one is not enough. Two or more in combo is very accurate.

- Proximity (how close she keeps herself to you) 7

- Orientation (where her chest and feets are pointing, if at you or the door) 6

- Verbal variety (quantity and quality of communication coming out of her) 6

- Facial expressions (smiles, blinks and many others especially at jokes) 7

- Accidental touchs (which are not if she touchs you) 9

- Playfully provocations 7

- Eye contact while talked to 7

- Checking the crew for you if separated 8

The more of this the better but also that number gives some of those a highter importance than others.

You will realize that uninterested girls show none of those, those signs if understood and considered can make the difference between getting a ONS/dating or a useless number.

Foot orientation is one that most guys overlook. If they're pointed in a direction she'd take to get away from you then it's a sign that she's ready to ditch you at any moment. If they're pointed towards you (or in a direction where she can't go, like into the bar in front of her) then she's planning to stay there with you for a while.

It means flirting, or vexation, exasperation. Take your pick - running hands through the hair is commonly associated with flirting, and sometimes it is, although given different supporting signals, running hands through the hair can indicate exasperation or upset. Pay attention to her facial expression as she strokes her hair.

Dude, every girl I talk to plays with their hair. Back when I was married I figured that meant they all wanted to ride the baloney pony. I was sure of it.

Later I learned girls play with their hair all the time. When talking to other girls, when fooling around on their phones, when talking to their parents.

The best indicator of interest is them giving you their number and bumping fuzz with you. Don't sit their and marinate on it, act.

If they're stroking your d!ck that's probably an ioi.

You are FAR, FAR better off just assuming EVERYTHING she does is an ioi. Did she fart? That means she's comfortable & into yoy. Did she stand up - ioi did she sit? Ioi did she not run away screaming? Ioi

If you assume she's into you you have a 65% greater chance that she will be...

I strongly disagree with hair playing being an IOI. That's so high school. I know many girls who play with their hair habitually.

Use more meaningful interactions to determine interest. For example, does she carry a conversation? Does she seem to want to get to know you? etc

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

I've always thought that a girl playing with her hair is just a nervous habit. It would indicate some social anxiety, which may or may not be caused by her being nervous because she's attracted to you.

On the other hand, if she's doing it in a seductive manner, then she's probably doing it on purpose to either send you a message or mess with you. A lot of girls know that playing with their hair is supposed to mean attraction, so they do it on purpose as part of their "game". It's a low risk flirting tactic.

So if she's doing it on purpose, it's probably an IOI.
If she's doing it spontaneously, it may or may not be.

In all my interactions I've noticed the hair-playing thing was a definite sign of attraction (self grooming). I've yet to see a woman who is turned off by me play with her hair. I would think she would subconsciously avoid calling attention to her femininity.

I'll have to look around a little more and study this. I'm also going to look into the foot pointing, which should be a pleasant study since I like feet. It's odd that I've never noticed this before, but then again, here I am on the SS forums, so I have a lot to learn just like everybody else!
