I've been hearing about this Snapchat, something like it's a combination chat, but it's significance is that once a pic is posted, it disappears forever later on. There's this woman I had met in real life at an event. I wound up in a selfie with her, (she wanted the pic with me)...it was a lost connection...but I wound up bumping into her on Facebook via the "people you may know" list.

I chatted with her and she tagged me in that photo. Then she asked me if I had Snapchat. I said, "I've heard about it, but never really had much use for it."

But I hear that women that use online dating tend to use that as an alternative means to giving out their phone #...as a safety precaution. Kind of like Google Voice. I had also noticed she had her Snapchat handle listed on her Facebook profile as well...so apparently, she wants the public to know she has it.

I asked her if she's a model, because typically internet models tend to share their social media platforms. But she said she was not...just a single mom and a full time cost analyst. I had asked her if she modeled on her time off, and she said that she does not.
I was thinking in all her profiles, she's rocking hot, tight fitting dresses and Zumba outfits with model-like poses with people (or by herself)...so I would just assume she'd doing modeling in her off time.

Any thoughts on this whole Snapchat craze?

Attention whoors full of drama with nothing better to do then look for orbiters Instagram, Snapchat, facebook, Kik etc. Specially if they are dressed provocatively or wearing next to nothing. Not saying you can't Pull her but the amount of work and high maintenance that it in tails is not worth my time in my book.

Wow, that was late, this app has been around long enough to make my grand parents use it.

I don't use it much, I send a few pictures to family and friends when there's something special to show.

Well, I've heard about it since it came out, but never used it. Felt it was just another unneeded social media stack added to the pile.

You do tend to rack up a significant amount of distractions when you've added a handful of active people. It is also possible to screenshot pictures before they disappear, so they may not disappear forever and thus the safety aspect of it is kinda lost.

It's great for flirting. Adds an extra dimension over texting because you can use real facial expressions. Also not a bad place to get some nudes.

If she's under 30, she probably uses it. Download the app if you're going for girls in that age bracket.
