When I was younger I used to use a word that has been lately preached to you as…negative. These times are trying; in every sense of the word, and it is certainly trying to attempt to filter out propaganda when the filter must be set to “block”.
The word I am referring to is hate. I would be in class and I would say “I hate this!” and my teacher would respond “Now hate is a strong word, try dislike”. “I dislike this…!” I would say, without the nerve I once had.
What is hate and why do we have it? Is it something society has placed onto us too? Have our peers taught us to dislike one another?
In natural isolation, a child would grow-up (hypothetically, obviously, as a child would merely die) to show no hatred; society does not teach kids to hate each other, but it forces the individual to do something else.
Hate, from any direction, is hate-of-self. Your hate for any person derives from your own self-hatred.
What could I possibly be saying? I mean, how could the hate of Jason, who is such an *******, be hate of me?
In situations where we let our ego get in the way, we have clouded perception. Sort of like an anorexic girl looks in the mirror and thinks she’s fat, we look at this guy and think he’s an *******.
DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPOTHETICAL CHARACTERS SHOVED DOWN YOUR THROAT BY THE MEDIA
There is no crime without reasonable means behind it. Why does a poor man steal a ladies necklace? He is poor and desires her wealth (simply put). Why did Bob kill his wife Joann? He cheated on him, or she was talking back, something.
There is no meaningless crime; even the most illogical situations can be explained by mental insanity or drugs. A clinically insane man may have thought his wife was going to kill him; though we shall never truly know. The same goes for drugs, an episode does not necessarily have to be remembered.
Now, the same goes for a guy who treats you like trash. He has a reason behind it; torment is not without its motivation.
Why do you think he is an *******? Does he treat you like trash for ‘no reason’? Does he get all the hot girls and not talk to you for ‘no reason’? Seems like a legitimate reason to think he’s an *******, huh?
Mind reflects action; their actions have a motivation, and once you can see that without your clouded perception, you will cease to hate them.
Hate derives from hate of self because there is something blocking you from realizing the reality of your situations.
I can look at John, who said I was a loser and shoved me into a trash-can and hate him.
Other kids laugh at me when he does it, he’s getting joy out of it, but I don’t see that. All I see is John shoving me, laughing arrogantly.
I look at my situation: John is making a fool out of me because he’s an *******. I am too weak to fight back, so I don’t try to. Why is this happening? Because Johns an *******.
Saying that John is an ******* is a copout to looking at the situation. I am labeling John because it is easier to recognize him as an *******, and not try to comprehend that John is an ignorant loser who only does this to try and get a rouse out of kids to make him think he’s cool.
I do not realize this, and only see him as an *******.
The root is simple and weak, and is in fact that I hate myself.
John may in fact be the reason why I hate myself, but nevertheless, the root of my hatred for him is because I am unsatisfied with who I am.
It can be seen on this very board. People are looking for answers because admitting to them that they do not like their very selves is an extremely difficult process for the proud.
Even the most nerdish types are proud. They look down upon the jocks, which also look down upon them, thinking that they are brainless apes and they are evolved intelligent civil human beings.
Their pride, or ego, hides from them that they wish they were like the ape, and when the ape shows his ego that he is weak, his ego responds “No! He is trying to tarnish your ego! Hate him! Hate him!” Your pride is a weakness, and will not let you think rationally.
We are in high-school, and there is a reason for it. The tone of my previous parts of this series should have already made you aware that I am not going to tell you that it is because we must know useless, irrelevant facts.
Some of you are thinking “to get a job”. Well that is the monopoly my friend! When jobs need you to have a high-school diploma, you think as society has told you to. Go to school to get a job so I can be happy.
What is the real reason that you are going to school? We live in a specialized profession society, period. Knowing facts outside of your profession are irrelevant, except when there is a means outside of what you are learning which is teaching you something between the lines.
Now, I am going to post an article written by someone I happen to believe may be able to explain this in a far superior manner to which I can – possibly maybe only for his experience, but nevertheless.
The man is Jonathon Taylor Gatto, and he was the New York State Teacher of the Year award winner for 3(?) years in a row.
