Random topic but I just wanted some input if this was normal.

So last night I got drunk and took a few puffs of a cigerette. I am not a smoker and have never smoked before. It tasted like ass and messed up my throat. I woke up this morning and my throat still feels burned from last night and I feel like I have that damn smoke taste in my mouth/throat all the time, especially when I'm eating. Whenever I eat it feels like im going to throw up now because of that taste in my mouth.

Is this normal? Is it going to go away soon or is my mouth going to be ****ed up for awhile?

It will go away. Give it a day or two.
Did you try a mouthwash like Scope?

It will go away. Dont EVER, EVER , EVER do that again! That is how people get hooked. They think "that tastes like crap, I could never get hooked on that."

To get hooked on cigs, you actually have to build a tolerance to it. You are inhaling poison, and your body knows it. To keep smoking, you have to suffer through the headaches, sore throat, and coughing, before you make yourself 'think' you enjoy it.

It's absolutely dumbfounding that we get addicted to those things, when the first few packs are very unenjoyable.

speaking of which: day 10 without a smoke, for me.

Hey

Don't keep on smoking, that's how I got hooked.

I can stop using alcohol, drugs with ease but I find it hard as hell to stop smoking.

Bad habbit.

I knew alot of guys that never smoked until they tried it when they were drunk. Then, they said they only smoke when their drunk. Before you know it their smoking reguarly. Best thing to do is stay away before you get hooked.

The taste will go away. The first few times you smoke it feels gross but after a while it becomes less and less bad until you start to actually like it.

I made the mistake of getting to the point where I enjoyed smoking but I cut myself off because I knew I was on the verge of getting hooked. Now I never smoke, not even when I'm drunk.

I have to repeat what everyone else here has said. Completely normal to feel like ass afterwards. And I remember saying "why are people hooked on this? It tastes like sh1t!" Well, 9 years later and I am about to go smoke a cigarette outside in 5 degree weather.

Stay away from it.
