Ok so I'm in China, and we don't have the luxurys that we do like back in the US...soo dating here feels a little boring sometimes. And there's those cultural differences. Girls see going to the movies as a date thing. So if I take a girl to the movies, she'd feel I was interested.

So anyways, I want to take a girl out Saturday. The problem is she has class Saturday and doesn't get out till 5pm. So I want to take her to a typical dinner and movie date, maybe arcade if we have time. She said she has class Saturday, but she's free all day Sunday. I honestly don't like Sunday dates, but then again that gives us more time to hang out.

I'm all for the whole action date thing, the arcade does sound better, but I want to see the movie, she does too. It's rare that an English movie actually has English speaking, usually it has Chinese dubbing.

Okay so either meet up Saturday late afternoon/early evening and see a movie and dinner. Or arcade and dinner.

OR do all three on Sunday and spend more time getting to know her. I actually have another date Sunday, but I'm not too interested in this other girl so I can easily cancel that. Any bright ideas? The last date I went on was three weeks ago and we just had dinner, then went to her place for some one on one time.
Or do something else?

What up bro, where in China are you? I'm currently in Shanghai.

Anyways, here are some of my thoughts.

1. Don't get picky on days. Any day of the week is good. It's what you make of the moments and interaction between you two that count. By considering which day or activities is better, you are leaving your fate to external sources.

2. Go for the Arcade, since that can show your competitive spirit, and you can tease her whenever you kick her ass in a game, unless she kicks yours.

3. Then, just have dinner and focus more running deeper and personalized conversations.

Enjoy your date.

Yeah, where in China are you? I lived in Shanghai aswell and I go back about twice a year and I find it's extremely easy to find fun things to do, plus cheaper. They also always had a few big movies in English, but I don't know where in China you are.

I had a lot of fun dating there, but I never really dated any local people, just expats mostly.
