Here is a simple question: I live in the US and I have some family outside the country. Can I setup a number via skype so that it is outside my country where they live, so I could call them using cheap local rates, and so that they can call me via their local number as well? How?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

You might get a number in their country (ie: Canada, nope :().

If you get a number, they can call that number and it'll ring your skype. Simple?

Or, you can both get skype and talk for free.

I got a few more, since Im switching from DSL to Cable and from regular phoen to VOIP.

Can I use skype and Vonage or other VOIP over one single internet connection?

I plan to connect all phones in my house so that they work through regular lines, i.e. same as vonage. BUT, vonage is a bit expensive, spyke is kind of cool, $33 a year and unlimited calling. So I am wondering if I could use hardware (linksys PAP2 or similar) to allow skype to provide phone service through out my house?

You can run a whole server off one line. The only problem lies within whether Skype and Vonage share ports....that I dont' know, I'm too busy to search.

Ok, but what about the really important question. Can skype be used just like vonage (i.e. to have it run all my phones via the lines I already have)?

Another thing, if that is indeed possible. Can I run skype (client) on my PC, and have the adapter run my phones, at the same time? Because I bet running skype on two computers at the same time and with same account is not possible.
