Hey guys, I am 6" 150 or so pounds. All my life ive been skinny, no matter what i eat.

Money is real right right now, but if this program does work, i am willing to give it a chance.

Some questions - How much time does the program recommend you spend at gym?

Is the program suggesting you go and buy specific type of food a lot, spend a lot of money on it?
(i cant offord a lot of food right now, so i eat what i can).

You're better off checking out DIESELS bulking guide...for free.

4 days in the gym, only buying whey protien, creatine, and flax oil.

How important is it to buy all these supplements when trying to bulk?

-_- That's why you learn to read.

Whey protein is what build your muscle after you workout. You get more from real food and your body absorb it much better.
Creatine is like a transporter for water and such. It provides more "bus".
Flax oil is good fat.

If you want detailed, you might as well do some research.

Unless you're willing to give us a review and such, it's not worth it.

Not at all. You're better off going to Wal Mart and buying a bunch of large cans/jars of peanuts, especially the honey-roasted kind. More protein and calories for less money, and they taste freakin' good. Aside from protein powder and creatine, none of it is really necessary (well technically, protein powder and creatine are not either, but they help).

Bottom line, lots of calories, and you will grow. For an ecto, you best be eating til you get sick, then take a dump and eat some more, but peanuts are easy to chow on because they don't fill you up. And train hard and heavy with compound movements. Weighted pushups are a great replacement for bench press because they work more muscles, and require no spotter, so if you don't have a bench spotter do those. And squat and deadlift like your life depends on it.

He gives very good advice and definately knows what he is talking about. I have seen a lot of his work and it is written from a total beginners point of view. He shows you every excersize and how to do it as well as eating fundamentals.

Is it worth it? Depends how hard YOU want to work. Some people like having a timeline and a structure of what they need to do in front of them. If this is you then by all mean go get it. But remember you must follow it exactly as he tells you or it won't work.... at all. Half of gaining muscle is CONSISTENCY. Get a routine down and don't stop at anything.

Oh and those supplements are cruical to you gaining the mass/weight you want. I don't care what anyone tells you. Protein, Glutamine, Creatine, Vitamins, Rest, a good diet, Water and a lot of sleep will get you farther than a good diet and working out alone.

Those supplements aren't as crucial as one might think. Supplements are just that, a supplemental thing for a good diet and weightlifting routine. Personally, when I bulked all I took was a multi, C, infrequently took creatine (like 5 grams 3 days a week) and a blend of two protein powders, but I gained like crazy cuz I ate a lot and my workout routine was insane. I almost never slept 8 hours per night, and didn't regiment my water intake. If I did I might have gained some more, but what I gained was still pretty awesome.

.

I ordered this program. Pook made a good post about the program on another thread. That post is one of the major reasons I purchased it. He's a skinnyguy.net affiliate, so he should have gotten my $20. Sure, like others said, you can get the info for free, the program just puts it all together in a neat little package and tells you exactly what to do. If you don't mind spending the $80, go for it. If that's no good for you, there's plenty of stuff on the net to get you started. If you're new to smart bodybuilding, I'd definitely recommend it.

It is a great start if you know nothing about building muscle. It is NOT magic. The real magic comes from the consistency and the dedication.

Man it isn't that easy. If it were we'd all be buff as sheit running around. You have to know WHAT to eat and how much and when. You have to know what excersizes and how many reps/sets/rest time to do. You have to know WHEN to work each muscle group for your type of body. Not all body types are the same and shouldn't be worked out the same. He explains this all in his book. Just do as he says and you'll be fine. Put your ego and what you think you know aside and follow him. You'll be happy.

and how much does the book cost.

With most people that i know of that have taken up weights, they've followed pretty much the same path.

They see weights and think sure why not give em a go. Might do an all body workout, or just bench a bit. Then they'll see that they're gaining, but slowly, so they'll research lots, experiment to see what works, and then become satisfied as they figure out what works for them.

Why would i want to do as he says? I have no intention of buying what can be obtained for free.
