I have a skin problem; it’s not a disease or anything in that type of area. It acts as an allergy. Basically this is what happens, if I itch or scratch my skin the area that I itched will get some what swollen ( something what you would get if you got hit pretty bad, but with out the black and blue). Also if I would accidentally rub against something then that area could turn red, this happens on the face most of the time. After a period of time it 10 to 15 minutes it would go away with out leaving a single trace. Does any one knows what this is and how can I cure this thing. Here are some pictures so u can get a better idea of this thing.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I'm curious, does this happen anytime ANYTHING touches your skin? Or only certain things?

You could try a cream or ointment with hydrocortizone that will reduce the swelling, itching and redness. They sell them over the counter at most drug stores.

Got a reply from the dermatology forum:

this is dermatographism, an exagerated allergic-type response to particular stimuli, usually scratching or minor trauma to the skin. localized histamine release and the cascade of inflammatory events will elicit clinical papules, wheals, edematous plaques, etc. this can be physically demonsrated even with a linear scratch as you noted. it can be intensely pruritic and certainly interfere with quality of life. as for many of the allergic dermatoses the etiology is unclear, defintely an underlying hypersensitivity. there is no cure per se, however control of the condition is quite common. spontaneous remission is sometimes observed, but it seems to have a chronic relapsing/remitting course similar to many other "skin allergies". oral antihistamines are the mainstay of treatment, the condition is managed similar to chronic urticaria. try some zyrtec 10mg qd-bid to start, there are many other options and different meds but i have found this to be effective in most cases. if i can be of any further help to you just let me know.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yep. It sounds like your doctor was right in prescribing you antihistamines - perhaps he just didn't give you a strong enough dosage. I am a little surprised that he never told you what it is he was diagnosing you with at the time of writing the prescription... seems a bit unprofessional.

*edit - I see that you stated he gave you antihistamines and that you said you never took them. Perhaps next time, when he gives you Zyrtec (since Claritin won't be covered by your insurance anymore being that it's OTC now...) you should try taking the medicine your doctor says will help? At least, it would be the smart thing to do.
