No biggy of a sitaution but I still like to share it with you...
Yesterday as I was getting my key from receptionist for gym locker, a girl (15-18) asked my name which I did.
There were 4 ppl: Receptionist (standing in front of me, doh), the girl (on my right side), her friend who didn't talk (girl) and me.
maby tell me what I could have done instead:
Me: My name is ...
She: My name's Monica
Monica to Receptionist: Why didn't you write his name down?
[I know... I know... but I don't believe she did it only because she was worried about the paper not being filled...]
Me: [ I gave my hand and said ] "Let's shake hands."
Monika: [shakes hand weakly, so Do I]
Me: [taking my wallet to give my gympass to receptionist and asking Monica] "How old are you? [realising my mistake and correcting] "I mean, how young are you?"
[All looking more alive]
Monica: [saying nicely] You never should ask woman her weight or age?
[at this point the conversation was going @ the wrong direction but I didn't know where to lead it either...]
Me: Sure I can. I mean If I'm interested asking about that.
Monica: You'll not get answer from me.
[starting to feel powerless... read not knowing what to do]
Me: I will! [ not believeing it myself... how the hell do I? ]
Monica: I don't think so...
Me: [ not really remembering the first part of my answer ] ... I'll go to gym now...
In the gym I thought that when I'd finish... I'll go to the girl and ask if she had a minute... if so, then I'd ask if she believes in mind reading... I'd ask her to think number from 1 to 10 and try to read her mind (read guess). If I'd answer correctyl I'd get her age... which I allready know because I can read minds
and If not, It would have been fun anyways...
But she had left... so did I...
So, your opinnion?
