Cutting up is REAL easy - if you only have the discipline necessary ;-) that's the hard part of cutting up...the way it works isnt too difficult. around 500cals less than you'd eat to maintain your weight, as little fat as possible and as much protein as possible.

No problemo :]

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

Don't eat within 3-4 hours of going to bed. Try to go to bed just a little bit hungry. Also, dinner should be the lightest meal of the day.

Drink a big glass of water before every meal, makes you feel full faster.

Cut down on all simple carbs. Avoid sugers and flours. Eat lots of veggies with meals.

Personally I see no use in high protein intake when cutting.
The use of it is keeping your muscles...Im not trying to say that you should eat more protein than when ure bulking up though, but you need to eat even more foods that are high in protein or use protein shakes (if u usually get all your protein from "normal" food), because its harder to get as much protein as u usually do if you eat like a 1000 calories less.

You can get away with eating less protein than u do while bulking up but I wouldnt recommend doing this because your muscles will definetly suffer from it.

Discipline is essential, but so is patience. My previous weightloss has come through crash diets and the results have been very rapid (yet very dangerous and includes serious muscle deterioration).

Sensible cutting, however, is a lot slower than I expected it to be. I've been cutting for a month now, but I am slowly starting to see the benefits with absolutely no evident muscle loss.

There are some good replies in this thread:

(Don't follow my original cutting diet though - I was too far below maintenance)
