The question is my friend's brother is dating this girl who the family absolutely loves....The problem is he has been starting to act stupid and not return calls, having girls come over to the crib...all that type of stuff.....The girl has been so messed up over this that she has been asking my friend and the mother for advice on what to do.....Do you think that it is ok for a mother to give advice to her son's girlfriend......Is that acceptable or should the mother stay out of it.....and should my friend stay out of it...or should they give advice, and if yea...what type of advice....

Oh...you should have clarified that question better, lol.

No, the mother shouldn't interfere. Even if the son is being a bonehead, she still shouldn't get in the middle of things.

It's not her relationship. It's none of her business. Even if she is the mother. This is between the boyfriend and the girlfriend.

I agree. I tell my mother to mind her own ****ing business when it comes to my social life(without the f-word in there)

i think that if the mother was a mother of a teenager, then maybe there would be times where she would have to put in her two cents and stuff like that concerning rules on dating .
