Should GF dance with other guys at wedding?

My girlfriend is atteding a cousin's wedding out of state. I was invited by her, but could not get off from work to go. I would have liked to have gone, and tried my best to get the time off but was simply turned down by my boss. She is there with her mom and dad, and she told me she knows only about 8 people there (family members) out of the 300+ guests.

My question: Should I feel upset if my gf slow dances with other men (non-family members) she just met at the wedding?

(I have been with my gf for 6 months, and we established mutually acceptable and mutually desired boundaries early on: basically, we do not hang out alone with friends of the opposite sex without each other there, we do not go to bars or clubs without one another, and we do not think flirting with the opposite sex is ok. I know many people would think this is overboard, but both of us like it that way.)

Thanks for the advice.

yes (unless it's a redneck weddn')

I think your both controling, insecure, jalleous freaks, and i don't think she'll be dancing with anybody at a wedding, especially if she don't know them.

but then again.....it's a retarded question....anybodys guess....

Slow dancing with someone is flirting and you've already said that you both don't agree that's right.

Why do you need to ask the question.

If she tells you she did then just say that you think that's inappropriate because both of you have agreed boundaries and you feel she crossed them however don't be mad.

It depends on what you call "dancing".

I don't see any problem with girlfriend dancing with other guys salsa, tango, or any other ballroom dance if she likes it and is good at it. Why not?

But... grinding is definitely NOT ok! "Slow" dancing, again we need to define what this means. If it simply means that the music is gonna be slower than usual, than what's the problem? But if it's the kind of slow dance that is used as an excuse to get close to each other and touching each other, of course that won't be ok.

But in your case, it's for a wedding, not like she's out to some club with her girlfriends, "trying to find a guy for one of her poor friends" :)D check here) Plus she will be with her parents, and you were invited, only you can't go. So don't sweat it!:)

Well, I really don't know what will happen there. I haven't been to a wedding since I was like 10, and really don't know what kind of music will be there or whatever.

I just don't like the idea of her grinding with someone or daning to a romantic song with someone or whatever, but wanted to know what you guys think.

Don't worry until it happens.

Some lame tried to dance with my ex at this upscale older crowd club...

Dude comes up and says: do you mind if I dance with her

I tell him to get the **** out of here.

He walks away in shame and my exgf hits me on the arm and says something about me being an a-hole to everyone.

I think it would be classy if she was asked to dance and said: "I'm sorry, but I'd rather not." That would be very respectful.
