Could it be because, twice we went out to lunch, we each paid for our own meal?

Could this have played a factor? I remember not offering to pay for anything for the first time we went out to lunch. (we went to a mexican fast food restaurant.)

The 2nd time we went out to lunch (went to carls jr), right after she ordered food, she said right away "we will pay seperate".

You think she got the wrong mindset about me from the first time we went out? I am not cheap cheap by the way.

(i figured fast food for lunch is differnt where you are expected to pay seperately VS going to a nice restaurant for dinner where the waiter gives you a check where I can actually offer to pay.

Please don't troll, I am serious about this...

I don't think that paying or not should have anything to do with the LJBF zone. True, some gals can be very presumptuous about the guy paying. Her offering to leads me to believe she isn't one of those gals. I bet she has another reason. How did you find out she just wants friendship?

You got friendzoned for acting immature, not knowing when to be serious, and most importantly for not ESCALATING. If you don't at least try to kiss her on the first or second date, you're going to get friendzoned.

A lot of girls won't even give you a second date if you don't kiss them on the first date.

Most girls will give you a second date, but that's your last chance.

I mean, why should she treat you as anything other than a friend if all you are going to do is laugh and do "jokes" all night. Relationships/dating is more than that and you need to learn to be serious once in a while.
