Wondering how you guys would respond to a girl that sends a text with only a dot (".") in it.

some background info about her:
she is 21, kinda narcissistic by nature..she thinks she's super hot and she's always posting new pictures of herself in tight clothing and saying/posting how guys are thirsty for her. ( by looking at the comments she gets from men on fb it's no wonder why she thinks like this )

my relation with her.. not sure. She hates me for the most part and she always tells me that i'm being mean to her. Then if i ignore her long enough..2 ..3 days she starts sending these "dots" via text. To get my attention.. she won't stop until i finally Say "hi" or something.

I did try to ask her out a few times ..but she always flakes.

any ideas?

And you're the textbook fool who knows this, but after an extra "." or two starts to think maybe there's a possibility for a date... you ask her out and she shoots you down again and again... do you want to continue being that fool who keeps falling for this trick?

Never, ever respond to one of her texts ever again. Even if she writes more than a dot. Cut off her source of attention. She'll go nuts and start going to more extreme measures, at one point maybe even totally convincing you that you have a shot. Don't fall for it. Ignore ignore ignore.

I actually did.. for about 9 or 10 months. Somehow she found me on skype.
she asked why I deleted her? I acted like i didn't notice and made up an excuse about changing my phone number and some contacts got lost. (I did a change my number for unrelated reasons). anw, from there we started talking again..

So in a sense i was already moving on..but after the skype convo I thought that this persistence from her side to get my attention was maybe worth a second chance.

I guess this is just an extreme case of an attention wh0re. And I fell for it
