she is taking a break

Ok, last nite, i was with some of my friends and some of their friends met up with us. This girl Laura was with them. She is pretty damn hot, but even better, she is older than me, and shooting only for the trophy girls im going in for the kill. Here is my problem; she has a boyfriend but is "taking a break". Last nite this dude was trying (and let me tell you he was pitiful in his "pickup techniques") to hook up with her, so she comes over to me and tells me that (basically) he is creeping her out,, wants him away, and wants me to get him away. later i find out that she is tempted to hook up with someone (she tells me this). also, she told other guys she had a boyfriend but she told me that her and her bf were on a break.... So what do you guys think about this situation? Do you think I could hook up with her? It may be a bit difficult to get her to that point, what technique do you think would be the most effective in this situation? kino?

Next time this happens...what you do is this:

1) She tells you this guy is freaking her out, and she wants him away from her.

2) Tell her that you will be her 'boyfriend for the night', and in order to get away from him, you take her ('your girlfriend') away from the crowd for awhile, so he thinks she is 'taken'.

3) Guess what? You've now got her alone. Progress from talking about why this guy creeps her out, to relationships in general, to you and her. This is golden for eliciting values (if that is your cup of tea) or declaring your values and dropping SOI's (my preferred course of action). If you play your cards right, you could get involved that night, or she may request you to be a rental boyfriend some other night (even if she doesn't apparently NEED one that night ).

Hope that is understandable, it's difficult putting it into words.
