I always advise against dating girls who have boyfriends because you would be inviting trouble by doing so. Additionally, if this girl is willing to cheat on her boyfriend, well then if you become her boyfriend, then you know that she will be willing to cheat on you for a more attractive guy.

However, to answer the core of your question, if you're better at talking to people in person, try giving her a phone call her. It will be way easier than texting and you will feel more comfortable.
